Port of Garibaldi RV Park

Overview

The Port of Garibaldi RV Park offers a unique opportunity to stay right at the heart of a working waterfront. Situated on the edge of Tillamook Bay, this municipal park provides a functional and convenient home base for those who want to immerse themselves in the local fishing culture. It is managed by the Port of Garibaldi and caters to travelers seeking a reliable, straightforward stay where the sights and sounds of the marina define the experience.

Location & Surroundings

Located on the Oregon Coast, the park is nestled between the bustling marina and the rugged Pacific shoreline. The surroundings are characterized by stunning bay views and the active lifestyle of a commercial fishing hub. You will often see boats coming and going, while the salt air provides a refreshing backdrop. The proximity to Highway 101 makes it an easy stop for road trippers exploring the Tillamook Coast, yet the waterfront position keeps it feeling connected to the sea.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed for convenience, offering essential features for modern RVers. Guests can choose from sites that include full hookups with 30 or 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. On-site facilities include the following features:

  • Restrooms and pay showers for guest convenience.
  • Coin-operated laundry facilities to refresh your gear during long trips.
  • Access to Wi-Fi and cable TV at most sites to stay connected.
  • Dry camping areas for those seeking a simpler stay without full utilities.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure is just steps away, starting with the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, which stops nearby and offers nostalgic trips along the shoreline. Anglers and crabbers will appreciate being so close to the public pier and boat launches. A short drive takes you to the famous Tillamook Creamery for a taste of local cheese and ice cream. For hikers and nature lovers, the nearby Barview Jetty provides excellent birdwatching and beachcombing opportunities along the sandy coast.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for travelers who value proximity to activities over resort-style luxury. It is a fantastic choice for fishing enthusiasts and crabbers who want to be near their vessels or the public docks. Families will enjoy the local history and train rides, while couples will appreciate the evening walks along the harbor. If you are looking for a well-maintained municipal park that serves as a gateway to the best of Tillamook Bay, this is the spot for you.

I was there for a metaphysical event. Great location and plenty of space for special events. Private entrance to the beach. Friendly staff and clean restrooms.

The location of this park is ok. But this park looks shabby. You'd think that the grass and weeds could at least be mowed! My site had dried grass that reached the bottom of my motorhome, as did numerous other sites in the park. Fortunately the electrical and water hookups worked. Would I return here? Nope!

It was a amazing spot. They didn't charge us the $10 reservation fee and we got there late. We still had out spot. Everyone was great and no one complained about our dogs or kids. It was a easy walk to the hold town and bay to clam. Crabbing sucked because there is a company or boat that throws his fish carcasses in the bay about 4am so the crabs are full and won't eat. But can be grabbed if in the water diving
