This camper ground is right by the river and just a walk or biker ride into town for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Bathrooms were clean, very safe place, and the camp host were very nice. Really enjoyed my time camping here and will be going back in a few weeks. I highly recommend camper here

Overall good campground for several nights. Most of the people come for fishing, so unfortunately not too many kids and activities. The river is stunning, you can spot harbor seals right by the shore.

The check-in process is smooth and the grounds are kept in good shape, however the spots are on the narrow side. The location has bathrooms with free showers for guests and a small laundromat available for a fee. You can also see a lot of wildlife here, like sea lions, squirrels, and birds. The only negative is the hookup situation at the spots, one in every three spots are on the correct side but every two are on the incorrect side of the rigs so things have to be run under your rig which is inconvenient. They do have a potable water fill up point right beside a non-potable fresh water spot so be sure to read the signs first, both for $0.25 for 5 minutes, however the hose for the potable water is very old and not possible to unscrew it to use your own hose…

We were lucky enough to get a spot for the Fourth of July weekend. This is fantastic because it gives you a front row seat to the fireworks! While others are defending their lawn chair spots a few hundred yards further away for hours on end, you’re relaxing in your campsite. Then, after the fireworks, you just turn around and continue enjoying your campfire and burgers whilst everyone else sits in traffic trying to leave the park for an hour.

Nice campground, great location, reasonable prices. I had a waterfront site and it was lovely. Site was level and everything worked as it should. (I didn't use the restrooms or showers but did use the laundry, which was clean and modern.) Short walk to town, with tons to do. I enjoy going to the Laughing Crab wine bar and it's nice to be a short walk from "home" after a few glasses of wine and live music :)
