This is pretty much how a great park should be. The county should be very proud of this. Only thing I could say that is negative would be that the bathhouses need a little work. This park has pretty much everything and great gym equipment right alone the walking path. One of the best.

Great campground, clean well stocked bathrooms & coin showers. Many of the sites are well shaded. Some walking trails but the sites are arranged in a loop so we walked the paved loop. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.

This is my most favorite county park in all of San Diego. Perfect venue for weddings, faires, and all sorts of outdoor events. The Ranger is super helpful and knowledgeable about his location. It’s located about 45 minutes from Rancho San Diego through Jamul and Dulzura. There’s hiking trails, spots for RV camping and tent camping.

We did a camping trip with friends. Had a wonderful time! The park was fun and had great exercise equipment. Lots of squirrel holes all over, take flashlights at night. We did a bit of glamping with luxury amenities, all having a good time. We will definitely go back!

Most times very quiet and relaxing getaway from the city. Lots of room to walk, fitness trail, short hiking trail to small ashram/Pagoda structure, good showers & restrooms, and we love the group tent site. Staff is always great! They are always friendly and helpful¡ Thanks for bringing the firewood!

This is an incredible park with huge tracts of land. I highly reccomend it if you are looking for a getaway with lots of walking room and without inclines for those that like to walk but can't hike deeply.

Beautifully kept. Extremely tranquil. Fairly remote. However, be careful about parking there alone (after paying the day-use fee) and expecting to enjoy some solitude. At least during the off season. I was minding my own business enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of having the place nearly to myself when a neighbor called the sheriff's department on me. I noticed the man watching me and taking photos of my vehicle. So, I started taking pictures of him and his vehicle parked in his yard. He didn't like that. I was doing nothing wrong or illegal. it's a shame that people have become so paranoid that they can't allow another person to just simply enjoy the great outdoors; that somehow a lone person in a place like that is suspect. Then to have the sheriff be more supportive of him than of me was a double blow. However, I will not allow them to keep me from coming back. It's a county Park and it belongs just as much to me as it does to them.

A nice quiet park. Nice trails and playground. Plenty of picnic areas and nice scenery. Helpful and nice rangers. Bathrooms are not fully enclosed or climate controlled, so cool weather may be a challenge.
