Awesome Regional park! Has a lot of space, animals, and trees for shade. They are currently developing it and has a great brand new park for kids and toddlers, including a water park. They allow fishing with a license and have some basic equipment at the entrance. $8 entrance fee which is very reasonable. Has a lot of sites for camping as well which I want to come back for a weekend getaway. I love all the benches scattered around the park with a grill and nearby shade areas so people can lounge around and enjoy the vibes. I really hope they continue on track and develop the park with more areas for kids, families, and people to come enjoy the nature to get away from the city.

It is a very beautiful Park to Camp at. For the Camping Spot you have to Pre-Reserve and pay for the Spot that you choose. Check In Time is 3 pm and Checking Out Time is 11 am.

We came to check out the new playground. It’s a very fun structure, but I don’t think it’s going to get much use most of the year. It’s only 72 degrees today and already so much of the playground is too hot to play on. There’s not enough shade. I don’t understand why they’d design a playground for Southern California and not include more shade sails or even gazebo-style covered picnic areas. I was hoping this would be a fun place to spend time this summer, but we’ll only be able to use the splash pad (which is fun) and even then we’ll probably have to bring our own day tent. There’s also not a toilet near the playground. Not sure what they expect you to do when your kid suddenly needs the facilities (and we all know when a kid has to go they HAVE to go!). Pretty incredible that you can spend nearly $4million on a new playground and not have shade or toilets. Not sure it’s worth the cost of parking… Too bad.

This wasn’t our favorite RV park but it’s nice. The park is beautiful. The drive thru spots are great. The bathrooms and construction were really the biggest downer about this place. There were a lot of good birds here and I feel like I would have enjoyed my stay if the weather was nicer, it rained a lot. Can’t beat the price tho!

This park has a nice lake where you can fish for trouts, catfish, bass, and other fishes. License required or they will sell 1 day pass for $12. They sell fishing accessories too! Large camping areas with running water and BBQ racks. Boyscout Troop 710 enjoyed one night camping here!

It's $10 to enter this large park and it isn't particularly noteworthy. I found the scenery to be underwhelming, but it does have a decent play area for kids. I did see many people fishing, so it may be worth visiting for that. Otherwise, I've been to free public parks that are better than Prado.

Terrible reservation website I suggest to ask for one single midday week reservation on their website then you can see each individual website and look at the calendar of all the days that are taken and see what is available for each site sometimes you can divide your stay between two different sites and come up with a reservation. The fishing good the people that work there are great. But the County of San Bernardino leases from the corps of engineers and for over 20 years they've had no maintenance budget almost none of the sprinklers work on the first two-thirds of the campsites the upper third of the numbers are a newer section and only about half of the sprinklers have quit so the majority of the campsites have no grass around them and are full of all kinds of gophers and critters one of the really good things is that because of all the wildlife there is an amazing amount of owls Hawks eagles constantly flying into catch gophers very cool they stock catfish in the summer and trout in the spring and I seen a guy bring in a 60 lb striper fishing from 8:00 to 5:00 daytime only $10 you have to have a state fishing license for one or two poles

It's a diamond in the rough. A good place to go without going to far. The Park Rangers are great at their jobs and very nice. I felt safe there. I spent time there before going back to North Dakota.

This used to be a very nice and green park. However for some strange reason they stopped watering. It was reclaimed water! Now that water just goes to the ocean and all the grass is dead.

If you want to get away from the city or just get out of your house and get a beautiful scenic view. You should come to Prado park. The lake is very nice and it’s very private, you think it’s small just from the street view but if you continue driving farther into the park it’s actually very private it’s a beautiful park. Enjoy your hobbies, like fishing, painting, napping there is plenty of room to have large picnics or I just have a family outing or if you’re solo. What I really like about this park is that you know you’re still in the city but it feels like you’re in the wilderness. Parking is $8 to $12 depending on the day of the week or Holiday.
