Every site was set up nicely for RVs, with picnic table & fire ring on the passenger side. Ground is very soft, so be prepared to build a good foundation for the jacks. Beautiful creek ran along the bottom of the hill below campground. Was a perfect little swimming hole with grassy banks and nice shade. Primitive outhouses and water spigot available. No firewood.

Overall the place is ok, It has the standard picnic table and fire triangle (not a ring). It was busy so a lot of spots were reserved yet no one was using them. It was a Friday so I suspect locals pay an extra day to keep the spots from being snatched by tourists. It is close to Crater Lake National Park and other attractions. Some of the bathrooms were out of service so it raised the use on the serviceable ones. There is a trail to a prairie with its own creek. It was a good back up for non potable water since the campground shut their water due to quality issues. We planed on using McKay camp nearby, wich looked better but all the spots were taken. The biggest negative and why the four stars was the dust. This may be due to lack of rain, but it was the kind that gets into everything. We were wearing dust boots on our skin after 1 hour there. The big positive is that it seems they trimmed the dead trees so there was plenty of free firewood everywhere. It was a bit noisy until 10 but it quiet down nicely afterwards. Costs 16 dollars per night. So I would say it is a good backup spot if you are in the area and all the good spots are taken.

This was 4 days of fun. The campgrounds were clean, well maintained.

This is a dry camp ground with a camp host available. There is a water spigot but you need a rubber hose to use it. No threads on end of spigot. You are camping among tall pines and chipmunks.
