Nice camping grounds for RV. A lot of activities to do. The lake and the river is awesome. And the beach access is an additional advantage the beach is less than 5 minutes walk. Pet frindly as well.

Waskesui National Park is an excellent place to go with family and friends. Relatively short drive from Saskatoon or Prince Albert. There are lots of options for your camping style. Both with services or without. Showers are available as well. Lots of beaches even some dog friendly ones. But they could really use more dog friendly locations. We find lots of people have dogs but the park beach locations are lacking for them. There are many playgrounds for kids and plenty of good restaurants and eats nearby. Large public park spaces for picnics and barbecues for families. They've recently added Tesla EV charging stations in the parking lots as well. My personal recommendation aside from all the beautiful hikes and things to see is make sure you get ice cream at Olaf in the homemade waffle cone! It's amazing. If you don't care about the waffle cone, go over to Scoops around the corner. Seems like the same supplier in ice cream and has more flavours. 👍

Many of the sites are not level and some major levelling of the RV units is necessary to provide satisfactory setup. In addition, the location of power, water & septic hookups are not together. This may require you to have extra lengths of these utility connection equipment. The staff and ground maintenance individuals are very nice and friendly. We would highly recommend the Red Deer Campground for your stay. It’s a great family place.

We stayed at Red Deer campground in Sept and it was absolutely beautiful. The stores were just beginning to shut down for the season but the weather was still very pleasant and everyone was super friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Lots of beautiful hikes close by..
