The lady at the desk failed to inform us that there was a water advisory in effect when we checked in. We found out about the advisory in town. Apparently there was a sign on her desk which was not obvious when one signs in.She did not inform us of the water issue. She rudely asked me if she was to put a flashing light on the sign.Her lack of communication puts people's health at risk and her flippant response was not appreciated nor called for.

This campground sucks. It is really run down, nothing close to what is described on their website: the office smelled bad, the doors to the toilet stalls didn't close, there was no hot water in the shower, half the dryers were out of order, the picnic table was rotten, the wi-fi didn't work. To top it all, there was a boil water advisory in effect, but the lady in the office didn't bother telling us. Only upside is how close it is to the ferry.

I’d give it half a star if possible, for the shower access only. Booking worked, put in all details possible including length of rv, yet upon check in at 12:30 am they gave us a site that was too small. Went back to get another, which they gave us reluctantly. So in the morning we got the morning staff person come to our site and team us out for being in the wrong site (which was approved by the night staff), and that if we were still parked at 11:01 we would get a full nights charge. In this conversation we were overly tired, spoke very calmly and positively, yet were dismissed and yelled at for what…parking in a site we were given, paying 60+$ for a few hours of rest, to be woken up and yelled at. Never coming back, I don’t wish this place on anyone. They take advantage of the fact it is closest to the ferry but do not give a rats ass about their paying guests. What a joke. There are other options folks, just have to look around and drive a short distance for a respectful peaceful nights rest.

Not every site has a picnic table and fire ring, which I found to be strange. Our neighbours had the picnic table and fire ring and we were left without. The showers were fine a little dirty. But good pressure. Laundry was three loonies to wash and three loonies to dry. I had to dry three times for medium sized load. Wi-Fi was very bad — unusable.

We were a little suspicious, because of the most recent comments. So we had a look around the campsite, before we checked in. The check in was super easy and friendly, the sites were tidy and the washrooms were functional and clean. Somebody dropped the hand soap and it was slippery, but after telling the staff, it was cleaned straight away. Perfect location for a few nights and taxi to marina was just 10$, if you would not want to take an RV and find a parking spot.

We stayed here for nine days, end of June 2021. The people were friendly. The office staff were great. They had the right fishing lures in stock. We were in a class A motor home. All the hook up worked and were in good repair. This is a RV campground not a 5 star resort. I will be happy to stay here again!!!!!!!
