Princeton Golf Club and RV Sites
Overview
The Princeton Golf Club and RV Sites offers a unique combination of leisure and natural beauty in the heart of British Columbia’s southern interior. This park provides a quiet retreat where travelers can enjoy the convenience of being steps away from a professional-grade fairway while surrounded by the rugged landscape of the Similkameen Valley. It transitions seamlessly from a golf-focused resort to a relaxing basecamp for exploring the high-desert terrain and mountain vistas that define the region.
Location & Surroundings
Nestled just east of the town of Princeton, BC, the park is situated on a scenic plateau overlooking the valley floor. The grounds are defined by towering ponderosa pines and the clean, crisp mountain air that characterizes the Similkameen region. Visitors often appreciate the proximity to the town’s services while feeling completely removed from the noise of the highway. The surrounding hills and the nearby Similkameen River create a sense of seclusion and tranquility that is hard to find in more urbanized camping locations.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is well-equipped to handle modern RVs, featuring both back-in and large pull-through sites that accommodate big rigs. Most sites offer full hookups, including 30 and 50 amp power options to ensure a comfortable stay for long-term or overnight guests. The park facilities are designed for convenience:
- Clean washrooms and hot shower facilities
- On-site laundry machines for long-haul travelers
- Access to the 19th Hole restaurant for on-site dining
These features make it easy to focus on your golf game or simply relax under the shade of the pines after a day of travel.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Beyond the immediate appeal of the 18-hole course, the area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The Kettle Valley Rail Trail is a major draw for cyclists and hikers wanting to explore historic railway routes and local bridges. For those who enjoy water activities, the nearby river is perfect for casual fishing or seasonal floating. During the shoulder seasons, the China Ridge Trails offer world-class cross-country skiing and hiking, while a scenic drive can take you into the heart of Manning Provincial Park.
Who This Park Is Best For
This destination is ideal for active retirees and golf enthusiasts who want to balance their love for the sport with the freedom of RV travel. It also appeals to families and couples looking for a well-maintained, quiet environment that serves as a gateway to the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland. If you appreciate a mix of manicured landscapes and wild mountain scenery, this park provides the perfect middle ground for your next British Columbia road trip adventure.

Went to get a bucket of balls at 3pm. The range closes at 4pm And there were 2 people there when I stepped up to a mat. Instantly the guy in the ball sweep cart starts swearing at me calling me all the names in the book. So I step back call the pro shop. Then the pro shop guy comes out and calls the ball cart over and they chat. But after that, every time my ball gets too close to his cart, which I wasn't trying I'm just very inconsistent and need the range practice. He would hurl another insult then drive off. Most stressful bucket I've ever had to hit. After I go into the pro shop and tell him what happened and all he says "it's my fault". But the verbal abuse has still got my heart racing. I finished a bucket in 30 mins instead of the usual 45-60mins it takes just to get away.

Beautiful spot. Great golf course but the wifi sucks.

• Staff are clueless, sitting in my RV in +37 Celsius (98 Fahrenheit), AC on, the guy is going around turning off breakers, because somewhere a breaker tripped. • That was the only time I saw any employees. • Site was fairly level. • Site was tight, very, very close to neighbors. • It’s basically a parking lot with services. • If you want a nice quiet campground, this is not the place for you. • Hard to enforce rules when the camp host is one of the ones partying all night. • Showers are fairly clean, and adequate pressure, you get 5 minutes for $1.00. • WIFI was slow, Rogers worked great. • Would not stay here again.

A great layout. The course is in great shape. The people working here are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Has a wonderful time at the Princeton Golf Club today. We stopped in Princeton for 2 nights to camp/golf while on our way to Creston. We camped at the Municipal RV/Campsite (right across the highway from the golf course). The attendant at the club house was very nice and was able to get us a tee time for the next morning at 7:45. Good thing because it was HOT! We were paired with local members Dee and Frank, who were both very kind, patient and great golfers. Frank let my husband know the quirks about each hole and even gave us some course history. We enjoyed their company very much. After our round, we enjoyed a great lunch at Divots.
