This is a great RV campsite - well laid out and with great facilities. Best shower room/toilets I have ever seen at a campsite. Friendly host who is on site. Down side: There is a lumber yard on the other side of the river which runs 24hours - so there is noise all night. The site rules state a quiet time & gates close 10pm to 7am. A large number of guests are local workers and they start to leave for their shift a little after 4am. So not so quiet!

We stay here every year when passing through. This year they have made some improvements since last year. New bathrooms installed and the grounds look great with landscaping. The lots seemed to have been levelled again as well. One of our favourite stops.

Great place to camp. The owner is quick and efficient. New bathroom facilities are very cool! It's a shame they close at night, but very clean! Tokens for showers worked well, very hot and lots of pressure. There is lots of road noise.. but honestly it's part of the location so nothing they can do about it so I can't complain. The river is a great spot to go for a dip. It's low right now so we took our chairs down for an ankle dip. Definitely recommend this place.

Second year enjoying the long weekend camping here. This year we got a riverfront spot and enjoyed the easy access to sit in the river for the afternoon. You are right beside highway 3 so there is traffic noise but most of it you tune out. New facility with huge rooms with showers. 10pm quiet time is adhered too and overall a great especially for its price point spot to chill.

Lovely place. No privacy at all though, basically just a parking spot with a row of rvs. But its well maintained and manicured. Beautiful property right on the river. It is right beside the highway so it will be loud. There are swings for the kids. Grass to play on. Hot showers.I just wish it was an actual "camp spot" where you have your own little area surrounded by trees with lots of privacy. Instead of a place where when it fills up it's just a parking lot with everyone crammed in and your neighbours 5 feet away.

Good news they said they will never do this again. Guests and camp hosts dump grey water into the Similkameen river. They have their grey water pipes hanging down the banks of the river. GROSS for us to swim and play in and more importantly environmentally GROSS. When I saw this totally unacceptable act and reported it to the campsite hosts, the camp host with the long blond hair (man), told me they allow that here. THIS IS THE MUNICIPAL CAMPGROUND...HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!, what a GROSS TOWN if this is acceptable.

Stopped here for an overnight. Lovely little spot on the river, which balances the noise of the highway behind. Host was welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The host’s site and garden by the office were attractive, and there were many birdhouses in the trees. Campground looks maintained. Playground not open, due to maintenance. Bathrooms old, but acceptable. Would consider a short stay here again.
