Prospect Place RV Park & Campground

Buyer beware!!! The pictures depicted are not as they seem. There is no access from this parking lot, yes parking lot not a "resort" as described, to any walks or anything other then a gravel lot. Our site faced a brick wall covered in some ivy, non decorative, no fire pit, at any of the sites and no picnic table or anything other than gravel. There was a wooden fence directly behind us that constantly echoed non stop traffic. Also out of the six/seven shower bathrooms, only three were operational. The non working ones had some "logs" in the toilets that made them non operational. And if your traveling as we were and you book for three nites the day before you get there they give you seven days prior to cancel your stay, otherwise you lose all you've paid. So unless you can go back in time, you're screwed as was we. Unfortunately the other campgrounds in the area were all booked for the three days so we ended up at the KOA near central city and even though it's a little more then we usually pay for a campground, it is an amazing campground with amazing views!!

It's the most expensive per night fee I've paid just to stay in a run down gravel parking lot. My partner was unable to change her site in the office at checkin and was instructed she'd have to cancel her current booking (incurring a cancellation fee) and then rebooking a new site. I'll be avoiding rjourney affiliated parks in the future. I would only book here if you have absolutely no other option.

Being a suburb of Denver it's a safe, quiet place to park and stay. It's a solid gravel lot with fairly level pull through spots. Full hookups. Consistent power. Laundry and shower on site. Plenty of dog waste pickup bags around near the trash cans for easy pickup after pets. Dog friendly with friendly staff on-site. Close enough to amenities to be convenient. If one must be in the Denver area, then this rv park is a great place to park with short term and long term bookings. Has a package pickup so you can receive deliveries while you stay.

Great location and staff, no complaints! Applewood is a nice, safe, and secure RV park with great access to the amenities of the area. Easy access to I-70 with little to no traffic noise. The staff are friendly and helpful and really make your stay here a pleasure.

Old couches sit outside of RVs that haven’t moved in years. Run down and gross all around. If that doesn’t paint a picture one drive through the park will have you keep moving. The location is good. But the owners would be better off selling to an investor with money that would level this place and start over.

They will charge any saved card on account randomly WITHOUT authorization. Manager on site has no urgency, does no work. Never does any authorizations needed for any change to your account. Upkeep on the park is very poor. Security deposit was not returned in 7-10 business days. They say that they will return security deposit on to your card on file, yet waited our ELEVENTH business day since we moved to call to verify an address to mail a check! So still no refund returned yet! Bathrooms are mold and termite filled. Dyers are always out of order. No common courtesy from neighbors or staff. Other people and property management walks right through your things to walk through your site. Noisy after 10pm quiet time. Speeding throughout park. Busy dump station, traffic backs up into park every weekend. You have to drive through entire park to get to dump station. Dogs hanging out of camper window while owner is away, even after management is told. Maintenance is non existent. No site prep for new campers. People park in the street. Packages that get delivered are left out in the open, not behind a closed door. $34 convince fee, on top of all the extra fees they throw in there. You cannot stay the whole month you paid for, once you give your leave day, that is leave day. No respect for your site/ space. People that were moving into our spot once we left, were walked by management through our site taking measurements while we were home.

this rv park was very mid range. the showers were hot, but not super clean (hair in the drain, stains on the walls). the laundry was 24/7, but only 2 dryers worked. our stay was decent, but not worth $80

Really close to l-70. Quiet and safe overall. We have booked another 3 months at this location due to their affordable prices. However, no one monitors the dogpark. There's sloppy owners and dog poop everywhere. That makes it unpleasant to walk around. Poop bags are located at every corner of the property, no excuse for people not to cleanupaftertheir pet..

I wouldn't call it a "resort" specifically, it's more of a rv/trailer park. It was obvious many people are living there full time. One camper had a truck almost entirely disassembled on blocks. Most sites were clean and well kept by the residents. Cameras at the long term sites was a little disconcerting. Some noise after 10pm....TVs, people talking loudly, but not enough to be a real issue and I was so tired I could've slept through a tornado. Best part are the private showers, super clean and functional (just gotta figure out which shower doors slide or pull). Laundry room was pretty good. Some dryers out of order, but that's normal. It is really close to everything in Denver. 15 minutes to downtown. So, if you're looking for some inner city action, it's perfect.

This is not a resort, so best to take it off the sign. Not many choices in the Denver area, so it was only for convenience. The owners need to make the long term residences keep their sites clean and tidy. No reason it should look like crap when you drive through. One truck had flashing lights on 24/7 on their roof. What a distraction. The rocks are hard on dog’s feet and the dog potty area is a joke. Glad there was a park next door but be prepared for lots of flying bugs at that park. Sorry but we won’t be staying there again.

Odd setup with water and electrical on the wrong side. Park was quiet and good stop for 2 nights. Owner fixing the park up. Staff is great!

Great location, quick drive to downtown Denver, took advantage of Denver city pass and saw a Rockies game, plenty of shopping for everyday needs within 2 miles. RV park is quite and backs up to a big public park great for kids to run around and if you like to ride bikes a trail runs through the park. I highly recommend.

Great staff. Very clean laundry and bathrooms. My lot was close to the road (E10) so there was road noise. The other lots are in a better position. It was a convenient location in Denver. And there are trails that go all the way to golden if you like walking. Golden isn't far and a beautiful town with lots of outdoor culture and restaurants in the foothills of the Rockies.

Nice park, usually quiet. And clean. We've stayed here more than once. But we booked a 9 day stay months ahead of time for our most recent visit. Then later we received an email solicitation with a Holiday Discount Offer. So we called to add 3 days to our stay and they told us we aren't allowed to use the discount offer they emailed to us because we had already booked. Not great customer service if they want to keep people coming back.

We stayed at Applewood for 1 month and were pleasantly delighted with this urban RV park. Located with easy access to 70 and all major routes and also next to a sweet city park connected to the Clear Creek bike trail! Excellent! The staff are very sweet and helpful and, after 5 years of full time RV living I have to say the bathrooms are the BEST! Each shower is its own room with sink and commode. Spacious and quiet!
