Prospectors RV Resort

Overview

Prospectors RV Resort offers a premier camping experience in the heart of the Arizona desert. As a gated community, it provides travelers with a secure and well-maintained environment that feels more like a residential neighborhood than a standard campground. The park is characterized by its wide, paved streets and meticulously landscaped sites, ensuring that every guest enjoys a sense of privacy and order. Whether you are arriving for a quick stop or planning an extended stay, the resort captures the tranquil spirit of Lake Havasu City while maintaining modern standards of comfort.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in the northern part of Lake Havasu City, the resort is perfectly positioned to offer both convenience and scenic beauty. The park is framed by mountain vistas and the unique flora of the Sonoran Desert, providing a quiet escape from the bustle of the main tourist strips. Despite its peaceful atmosphere, it remains just minutes away from the shimmering waters of the Colorado River and the historic downtown district. The surrounding landscape is a playground for those who appreciate the stark, natural beauty of the American Southwest.

Amenities & Park Features

The resort is designed with long-term comfort in mind, offering a suite of high-end amenities. Guests have access to a heated swimming pool and spa, which serve as the social hub of the park during the sunny Arizona afternoons. The clubhouse is equipped with a fitness center, laundry facilities, and space for community gatherings. For those who enjoy staying active, the pickleball courts are a popular feature for friendly competition. Every site is designed with full hookups, providing 50-amp service and plenty of room for slide-outs on even the largest motorhomes.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Adventure is never far away when staying in Lake Havasu City. A short drive takes you to the iconic London Bridge, where you can explore the waterfront shops and restaurants. Boating, fishing, and jet skiing on the lake are primary draws for visitors, but the desert land also offers world-class off-roading trails and hiking opportunities at SARA Park. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, the area features several championship golf courses and local casinos that offer evening entertainment and dining variety.

Who This Park Is Best For

Prospectors RV Resort is an ideal choice for active retirees and snowbirds looking for a seasonal home in a warm climate. Its social atmosphere and high-quality facilities cater to those who value community and comfort over a rustic camping experience. It is also a fantastic base for outdoor enthusiasts who want a secure place to store their gear between excursions to the lake or desert. If you prefer a quiet, orderly, and upscale environment for your RV travels, this park will fit your lifestyle perfectly.

Have been at this park since end of October. We have traveled from coast to coast and I can honestly say this is one of the most welcoming campgrounds we have been to. At this campground everyone is friendly and respectful. The amenities are nice including a pool and hot tub and a huge clubhouse with pool table, gym and large area where they have weekly events that are fun and entertaining. There is a nice laundry room, reliable electricity/hook ups gravel lots with patios for every site also. This is not just a campground its a community. We have made more friends here than any other campground and seems like many of them come back here year after year. Its quiet at night and far enough away from town to be out of the hussle and bussle but close enough to enjoy all of the things in town. The owner and people that work here are very friendly and are quick to resolve any issues in the campground. There is walmart within walking distance as well as a shopping center and rv repair center . Its a great place to stay!

My deposit was kept also. Then I go to verify I lived there and they denied I lived there by putting my moms name on lease from March and she didn’t live there till July. I have all receipts showing my name on this. May no one rent here. She changes the books.

Quiet place to stay. Friendly staff and guests. Prices are better than most other places.

The park was clean. People were friendly. The pool was really nice. It was out of town a little ways but close to Home Depot. The only complaint I have is they charged I believe it was $700 as a deposit when I moved in and they told me that if I give them two weeks notice upon moving out that they would return my deposit. I give the notice but they kept my deposit. And lots of people that I have talked to in the park that our seasonal also have the same complaint. They tend to keep deposits. That is the only thing that I have to say about the park as being a negative. My rent was paid electric paid and they still kept my $700 deposit.

Please disregard reviews from Josh Landers for this RV Resort, He and his business partner Chris Wheeler were just kicked out of my RV Park Carrouth Haven in Cortez, CO for being loud at 1am and assaulting a neighbor. Police had to be called and made them leave.
