Would not recommend this KOA, they advertise a hot tub, which is the reason we decided to stay. When we got there we were told it closes at 5 pm which is not on their website. This KOA is also 80 percent full of long term campers living there. It is very junky looking around these site. I would definitely recommend the other KOA in Pueblo Colorado. KOA journey.

10/28/25 We had a wonderful stay at the Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA! The park was clean, quiet, and very well maintained. The sites were level, paved, and easy to access, with some trees offering a bit of shade and privacy. The hookups were easy to get to, which made setup quick and simple. The staff was super friendly and welcoming — they even escorted us to our site and let us know their hours in case we needed anything. It’s a peaceful, well-run KOA that made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this location!

Enjoyed our stay here in one of the camping cabins. We arrived late and had no issues checking in after hours. We liked the fact that the camping cabins here also include a fridge, microwave and TV, and having a ceiling fan meant that we didn’t have to run a noisy AC unit to have some air flow. The reading lights on the bed were a nice touch as well. The campground seems to be well cared for. The restrooms and showers were very clean the entire time. The campground was fairly full for the weekend but it seemed like we were the only ones using them. Although the campground has some nice amenities, we opted to go hiking instead. Lake Isabel is about half an hour up in the mountains and has some nice hiking trails around the lake and one that goes to a natural water slide. The aspens were perfect! There are some nice scenic drives as well. Great campground and great location. Would love to stay again.

This was a very relaxing stop. We were great by a kind gentleman who made us feel very welcome. Our stay was quiet, secure, and restful. The park is clean and well maintained. Should we need a stop over again in the area I'm sure we will keep this on our list of stops.

check was easy, the hosts were very friendly, the pull-ins were easy enough because the streets were plenty wide. the bathroom was clean, well lit, and stocked with the usual. Shower had plenty of hot water. The laundry room was clean and bright with a folding table and plenty of machines. The camp store was more than adequately stocked. The campground was pretty full but was still quiet at night and the road noise from I-25 was hardly noticeable by a city boy. A very nice Circle K, with gas and diesel is just 100 yards up the road. There was plenty of stuff for kids but the mini-golf and discuss golf areas could have used a cutting. I give it a five not because it was perfect but rather because there was nothing of note wrong. A word of caution, the bathrooms may or may not have heaters when it is cold.
