This place used to be decent. My parents stayed here full time for a little over a year and had an agreement through september of 2025 to stay at their rate of $400/mo. (Kevin said he would honor it) Well apparently the owner stopped paying their mortgage and the rv "resort" was going into foreclosure. (Never mentioned to any of the tenants) all of the sudden this new guy Kevin shows up from California (the California part will make sense soon) and says he is now part owner and he needs to put something on the pedestal "to check things out" he then over the next month keeps trying to change the agreement on what the rent was. He claims the "thing he put on the pedestal to check things out" Is actually a 3rd party meter that he hooked up himself. (Hes not an electrician) he then proceeds to shimmy around trying to get my parents to agree to pay the electric bill that he claims is over $500 a month. I get involved and told him with their budget and the agreement that was previously had that wasn't going be an option. It then goes into the next month and they try and pay their rent and he refuses it. He loves to say "we'll figure it out" in an attempt to coerce you into paying both the rent and the electricity. So we have went from the agreed upon $400 a month to now approx $900-1000 a month. He then tells us he will be at the park on Monday. (He never showed up) at this point they tell me they would rather just leave before Kevin attempts to escalate this further. We get everything ready so we can get them to a new spot and Kevin decides to call a week later after he decided to finally show up. I talk to him tell him that they weren't comfortable paying all that when he hadn't sent any notice or anything that he was gonna start charging electric. He told me he didn't have to do that and then proceeded to tell me "you guys just want free stuff" even though I have text messages from the other owner asking me to agree to $400/mo. Also there motorhome is 30amp. If you can figure out how to pull over $500 through a 30amp receptacle let me know. He also only put the "meter" on our receptie, Not any of the other full timers that stay there. Very discriminatory. Also Kevin since you "don't need to notify your long term tenants" that you are going to start charging for a different service here's the arizona law so you can look it up yourself. A.R.S. § 33-1314.01. Basically what we got here folks is a typical Californian that buys into something with 0 research and is willing to do what ever it takes to make a profit. Even $1 right Kevin? You said that many times. And for the "resort" it's the furthest thing from that. It's a gravel parking lot next to a parking lot where the semis idle all night. Also there is 0 staff that works there. If you have any issues Kevin is the closest person to be able to help and he's 3 hours away in California. Look at the other reviews. Especially the one with the youtube video showing the "resort"

It's always a nice place to stop when you're traveling. Easy to get to, set up is easy, even when there's no staff on the premises.

No frills, but very nice clubhouse - perhaps the best in all of Quartzsite. Decent showers and laundry machines - great place to coordinate rally or special events. New management is very friendly; park operates on its own without staff or greeter during Summer (April-September). Anybody leaving 3 or less stars definitely too pampered, has attitude issues, or too high of expectations for a $35/night stay.
