Stayed here for 4 nights. Stayed at site 11. Sites were well spaced out and very well maintained. Facilities were also very well maintained. Shout out to the VT state parks staff who do the upkeep. Also… everybody respected the quiet hours. It was silent before 10 pm.

The state park campground was excellent. Very clean and well maintained sites. There are no electric sites, but that wasn't a problem. I just brought a small battery pack to charge phones and stuff. The sites were spacious and deep. The gorge itself was lovely to see. We hiked a couple trails and enjoyed the views. Not a place I'd stay for a week, unless you just want to enjoy the peaceful vibe of the campground. Otherwise, 3 days was plenty to look around and see the local sites.

Just popped in to see the gorge. The staff is super friendly and helpful both at the visitor center and campground. Easy trail to the gorge, directly in a little city though so there’s lots of noise pollution. There’s also litter and graffiti along the trail so you’re not as tucked into nature as I would have preferred.

We visited Quechee Gorge for a hike with our dog. From the visitor center along US-4, a trail led to the gorge trail where a left turn led about half a mile to the base of the gorge. I scrambled out on the rocks for a nice picture of the gorge and bridge. We also hiked upstream (right turn at the start) to follow the trail to the dam and Mill Pond Falls. On the way back to the, we took the pedestrian paths to the bridge for views of the gorge from the middle. Overall, a beautiful gorge, "Vermont's Grand Canyon" with some nice, easy hikes to great views. Definitely worth a stop if visiting the area.

Very nice location. Got to love the natural beauty of the gorge. The trails throughout are fairly easy to navigate and it is a family friendly destination. The gift shop is pretty nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Now the negative, again, what the heck is with building dams on waterfalls?!😡 Ticks me off! Not only does the building make things look to industrialized, there's no true observation deck to view of what remains of the falls. All you get to see is mainly the top 50% of them. This time of year, even makes it a bit more difficult to view with all of that foliage in bloom, because they have a fence keeping people back, because of the dam and building. But, the view from the bridge, on both sides of the gorge, is great 👍
