Happy Wandering
We got to the beach a couple days early and decided to stay at this campground. We normally boondock but the Florida heat and we have a dog. So needed AC. Called, booked same day. Polite, friendly service. Park was pretty packed, but very quiet. They used to offer tent camping but no longer do? We stayed at the camping section, had power for our AC yayyy!! Best part we had the whole section to ourselves, even better! There was no fire ring but she said we could have a fire. Oh, and no gators visited us. The cats were fed at this location. They never bothered us, but we do have a dog. So maybe they stayed away? This place is pretty pricy for the amenities. The bathrooms need a renovation but they function. We were by the 2nd pool so felt like we almost had our own private bathrooms. Overall we would definitely stay again. Its close to everything. There's a putt putt golf by the back exit and a water park next door. Location is perfect (ie: price) plus you can stroll to the beach, watch out for traffic!

Good campground, great location near the beach and a private road you can drive to the public beach in under 2 minutes. Two pools, laundry/showerhouses, still in good condition.

Staff in office was only pleasant thing. Grounds are dirty my site littered with trash plus the other site I moved to. Most all concrete slabs broken and dangerous to walk around including all the tree roots. Bathrooms disgusting!!! Never ever saw anyone cleaning sites. Bathrooms were closed for cleaning but stunk and dirty!! Place in need of major face lift. Pools cloudy. BIG disappointment!!!!! stay at the state parks 1000times nicer

This place was so cute and adorable! And so much character and charm, makes you feel like a kid again. The grounds were green and lush, almost jungle like. Super easy walk to the beach and an amazing fishing pier where huge fish were being caught. We also saw turtles and more lily pads than we could count. The ladies in the front office could not be more helpful, and also had tons of great info.

A great little hideaway in the heart of Panama city. The girls in the office are wonderful very enjoyable to talk with and accommodating. The campground features some nice shaded spots and close to the beach. And don’t let the cats scary you, some people like to exaggerate. We only saw a few of them and they don’t bother anyone. I’m not a cat person but get over it people.
