#1 best place to rent a boat and fish with your kids. Its a close drive from the city but still feels like wilderness, and the fishing is amazing. We have never not caught a fish here. Everytime we experience a fish catch drought, we pack up the car and come here. The employees are well versed in all things Tanwax lake. I have never had a bad experience here. The food is good. The boats rentals beat anywhere else. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The owners were very nice. The park is great if you go just for fishing, there is a nice dock with no dogs allowed. The spots are tight and there are no fire pits unless you rent one. Also no tables or grass in the spots. It was worth the price that we paid.

This place is absolutely freaking AMAZING!!! We will go back a thousand times. I 100% recommend everything. The milkshakes were so delicious and perfectly sized. The docks were clean and well taken care of. The rules were clearly stated for animals and fishing. Boat rental was easy. The BEST part.... The customer service was just like family.

Fantastic place and amazing people. You are feet from the lake and there is a view of Mount Rainier. The areas completely calm and peaceful. You can rent boating and fishing equipment for the family. It’s a perfect home base and is the closest to Mount Rainier, and wildlife. Everyone there was great and gave us advice on what to do and not because of the heat wave. All the hook ups worked perfectly. It’s close to waterfalls as well. We did the zoo, Mount Rainier, and various activities in the area. Everyone was very kind. We even lost a key for our hitch lock which they found and are mailing back to us. Great place to take the family and see the area. Very active fishing and a relaxing spot. Me and the family will be back again. Also me just to come for the fishing!

We were the 1st tent campers for the season & the tent sites were great, clean bathrooms & very friendly staff. Easy access to fishing at the dock & easily was able to rent a boat to fish. all prices were very reasonable & affordable. All the rv campers were friendly as well as the great staff. family friendly & overall a great time. Was able to catch a few perch. 10/10
