Rainbow Springs is a beautiful place to visit with your friends and family! There’s a small fee to get in. Parking is usually available but if it’s overpacked then they will make you wait or come back when parking is available. — There are beautiful trails to walk and the scenery is breathtaking! There are many waterfalls so bring your camera! Look up how to rent a kayak because you will have a wonderful time. We went with a small group and tour guide. It was great because they know where to go for the best scenery and wildlife. We love visiting this Rainbow Springs State Park, especially during summer!

This was my 1st time going to a natural spring and I absolutely enjoyed it ! It was so beautiful. My family and I purely enjoyed. We did a kayak tour then the next day rented a canoe. I recommend if you haven't kayaked or anything similar to do the tour 1st before just renting them on your own. I recommend to wear a life vest if you are not a strong swimmer. It is not anything to truly hold on to.

Clean and well maintained facilities. Crew are friendly and educational. They took the time out to show the passing kids an owls nest. The only issue is some of the less modest guests. Suggest for more kid friendly times get there early. Bring pool noodles, floats not allowed. Read rules beforehand please.

Rainbow Springs in Florida is undeniably beautiful, with crystal-clear water that makes it a stunning place to visit. The swimming area is a good size and perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings. However, there were several disappointments that detracted from the overall experience. We were particularly upset to find out that the hiking trails are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which isn’t mentioned on their website. We drove all the way out here specifically to hike, only to discover this. The only hike available was the waterfall trail, but it’s on pavement only and less than a mile, which felt underwhelming. Additionally, tubing doesn’t open until Memorial Day, so make sure to check their website for seasonal updates. The kayak experience was fun, but it felt a bit overpriced and outdated. The life vests didn’t seem clean, which was unsanitary. At the entrance near the gift shop/ food court we noticed what appeared to be old, melted vomit stuck on the staircase—definitely not a pleasant sight. The food court was another major letdown. It was disgusting and overpriced, with cold corn dogs and a cold cheeseburger. I will add that the guy working the concession stand was very friendly. However It’s hard to justify the cost of the food when the quality is so poor. Overall, while the natural beauty is impressive, the park seems a little overrated given the operational issues, lack of clear information online, and subpar food options. It has potential, but it could use significant improvements and better communication.

Beautiful park and very well taken care of. Think it cost us $5 to drive in and they have a gift shop / food shop. Nice paved walkways for easy walking. They also have some more rugged trails you can walk through the forested area. Multiple small waterfalls and a swimming area. No manatees here but great place to walk around and enjoy nature.
