Location & Surroundings

Situated in Salome, the resort places visitors in the heart of Arizona’s historic mining and ranching country. The surrounding area is defined by wide-open desert vistas, stunning mountain backdrops, and clear blue skies. It is an ideal spot for those who prefer a slower pace of life, away from the intense congestion of larger metropolitan hubs, yet still accessible via primary desert thoroughfares for those traveling with larger tow vehicles or motorhomes.

Amenities & Park Features

The resort is equipped to handle the needs of modern RVers, prioritizing convenience and comfort during longer stays. Guests have access to full hookup sites that accommodate a variety of rig sizes. The grounds are maintained to ensure a pleasant aesthetic, and the park includes essential facilities such as laundry services, community gathering areas, and well-maintained utility connections that provide peace of mind throughout the changing desert temperatures during the winter and spring seasons.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Travelers staying at Ramblin' Roads have easy access to outdoor recreation, including miles of desert trails perfect for hiking or off-roading adventures. Those interested in local heritage can explore the nearby historic ghost towns that reflect Arizona's early settlement history. For a more relaxed afternoon, the local community often hosts social events, and the vast desert landscape provides endless opportunities for stargazing, photography, and bird watching, far from the light pollution found in major cities.

Who This Park Is Best For

This resort is perfectly suited for retirees and long-term travelers looking for a peaceful winter destination to escape the cold. It appeals to RVers who value a quiet, friendly community atmosphere over high-energy luxury resorts. A pretty nice RV spot with good amenities. Reasonably priced but a long way from anywhere.

We were traveling towards Lake Havasu after battling Phoenix traffic for hours. Late afternoon, we came upon the 4-R, Ramblin Roads RV Resort and decided to call it a day. The place was excellent! Well maintained, clean, quiet (even though next to the highway, traffic was light). This place is definitely on our list whenever in the area.
