Rancho Sedona RV Park
Overview
Rancho Sedona RV Park is a peaceful sanctuary nestled among massive sycamore and cottonwood trees in the heart of Sedona. Unlike the high-desert landscape often associated with the Arizona region, this park offers a lush, shaded environment right along the banks of Oak Creek. It serves as a quiet retreat for travelers looking to experience the beauty of the red rocks while enjoying a serene, well-maintained atmosphere that prioritizes relaxation and natural beauty.
Location & Surroundings
The location is one of the park’s strongest assets, situated within walking distance of the famous Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. Guests can easily access the vibrant culture of downtown Sedona while remaining tucked away in a quiet canyon. The park is surrounded by towering red rock formations, providing a dramatic backdrop to the lush greenery of the riparian zone. This unique positioning offers the perfect balance between convenient urban access and secluded nature, making it a rare find in the region.
Amenities & Park Features
The park provides well-spaced sites equipped with full hookups, including 30 and 50-amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. To ensure a comfortable and modern stay, the grounds feature immaculate restrooms, clean laundry facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. Outdoor recreation is encouraged with dedicated horseshoe pits and a clean, fenced dog park for traveling pets. The most notable feature remains the direct creek access, where visitors can enjoy the sound of running water under a cool canopy of ancient trees.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
Adventure is just steps away from your campsite with numerous hiking and biking trails nearby, including those leading directly into the iconic red rock backcountry. Guests can spend their days exploring the stunning landscapes of Red Rock State Park or visiting the historic Chapel of the Holy Cross. For those interested in local culture, the world-class galleries and boutiques of Sedona are easily accessible. The proximity to Oak Creek Canyon also makes it a prime spot for photography, birdwatching, or simply wading in the water.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is ideal for peace-seeking travelers and mature RVers who value a quiet, natural atmosphere over a high-activity resort. Because of its strictly enforced rules and beautifully shaded sites, it is perfect for those who want to unwind after a day of rugged desert hiking. It is particularly well-suited for mid-to-large RV owners looking for a premium, central location that offers both natural shade and immediate proximity to Sedona’s world-class dining, art, and spiritual experiences.

Rancho Sedona RV Park feels like a sanctuary tucked quietly beneath a canopy of towering trees, where the gentle song of the creek drifts through the night and lulls you to sleep. Morning light filters softly through the leaves, guiding you toward the nearby coffee shop just a short stroll away. Within ten minutes, you can wander into Sedona’s heart—past art galleries, boutique shops, and the scent of desert blooms carried on the breeze. The park’s setting blends nature’s calm with the town’s vibrant spirit, offering the perfect balance of serenity and convenience. Every path, every sound, every rustle of leaves seems to remind you that Sedona isn’t just a place to visit, but a feeling to rest within. Thomas Corrao Stray Compass Life

We lucked out on a same day booking and got site 63 for 1 night. Wanted to stay another night, but the park was fully booked for the slots that could accommodate a 30' motorhome. Completely understandable because the park is beautiful, well planned with nice size sites that offer privacy. We actually enjoyed sitting outside the camper here. The creek is very pretty. You can get to town easily from this park w a scooter or electric bike. We didn't use the amenities, but heard the water pressure in the bathhouse is wonderful. Would love to stay here again and enjoy the natural setting here.

This is a very beautiful RV park, in this very special town of Sedona Arizona. We stayed in sight #59 with a 38 foot RV and a jeep. This sight was a back in site and was very spacious. It had a concrete pad, and pic-nic table with shade. There is a small grassy area behind it which allowed for a feeling of privacy. Most of the RV spaces are almost fully shaded. Our space had a peek a boo view of the red rocks. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. They work hard at keeping this park immaculate. It is close to the creek, trails and walkable to many dining options. We used our own Starlink for internet and had no problems, even with all the trees. We also had very good cell phone coverage while we were there. This campground is peaceful and relaxing and we highly recommend it.
