Unfortunately I don't recommend this place. The manager disregards the rules, the park says no pitbull dogs. He owns 4. Park rules only apply to some, other people let dogs run of leash. STAY WAY!

We stayed for 2 weeks in December. This park is quiet, very clean and well maintained. Sites are level cocreate pads but are a bit close together. The bathhouse was pristine and cleaned every morning. There is no pool or other amenities but they have a meeting room and hold various activities like bingo, breakfasts, yoga etc... We did not take advantage of any of that. There are two areas to walk your dogs. It is a place to stage for visits to Port Aransas and Corpus Christi and that suited us just fine. We looked at a number of RV parks in the area and other than Gulf Waters on Mustang Island, this park was the nicest. We would stay here again if in the area. Wifi was basic so we used our Starlink and had no issues.

Clean and quite environment. We have stayed here for a week and have enjoyed every moment of it . Clean laundry rooms and restrooms. The people in charge of this place are really nice. They are strict on rules but that’s what makes it such a nice place to stay at. I would stay here again if we ever go down south again.

So far it has been a great park. I arrived a day early and they were able to adjust my reservation. The roads and sites are all paved. There are lots of palm trees and the entire park is fairly immaculate. The only complaint I have heard after being here a month and attending several of the community activities (poker nights, dominoes, billiards, Saturday morning breakfasts, Friday dinners, Sunday morning music jam, holiday potlucks to name a few) is that some residents wish the park was gated. My only complaint would be that the Free WiFi isn't great, but it is FREE so I am not going to complain about that. The park is close to many things, but the main road doesn't have sidewalks. The VFW is a 3 minute drive, the library is 5 minutes away, and if you don't mind over paying for food and drink there is a Marina with a restaurant within walking distance. The Island is less than a 30 minute drive is you take the ferry. This place has 2 dog run areas that are not fenced, but a few block away through the residential area is a large, fenced, dog park (I do not have pets). You can fish in the back of the park, I caught a 17" red and saw a pair of blue crabs near the shore, nothing big enough to keep. A public dock near the Marina has a fish cleaning area - there is not one in the park. The people have been great. Residents and staff are friendly. My truck was in the shop for repairs and several residents offered to help me if I needed anything, including a ride. The roads are nice enough and the weather has been generally good which allowed me to ride my bicycle to and from the dealership where my repairs were completed. As a road cyclist, the roads are fine but there are no bike lanes. I have ridden several times, mostly in residential and off the main roads, and I have not encountered any road rage yet in Port Aransas or in Ingelside. The bathrooms are always clean and feel fairly new. One building has 3 sets of washers and dryers, the other has even more. Two loads of laundry cost less then $10 to wash and dry. There is a mail room for packages and standard USPS mail boxes on site. The mail box was $25 for the key at the Post Office less than a mile away. AT&T gets 5G, but it's a little slow. Cell data was good enough to have a 2 hour video call with my family for our early Christmas. Air cable has the basics, but cable is offered through a local provider at a cost. There is not a store on site, but a gas station with a convenient store is less than a block away toward the main road. H.E.B. is a couple miles away and a Walmart and Lowes about double that. The people at Howdy RV, near the Walmart, are extremely friendly and even found a way to get me one of the replacement propane regulators that are in a national shortage due to the 2020/2021 recall. No one else could - I tried in Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oregon, and Illinois. The park feels safe. I walk, hobble really, laps after dark for my physical therapy several nights a week. I often stop and chat with other people out walking their pets. To me, when people feel safe to walk after dark means that it is a nice place to live. For perspective: I am a 36 year old, medically retired Army veteran and I live in my RV. I have a 3 month stay planned, and hopefully I get to stay (I have ex-wife drama in another State) Several military veterans call this place home, at least during the winter.
