Easy access, however it is so close to the interstate it is loud at night. Therefore, we did not sleep well. They had a nice place to run the dogs, very clean, however we would not stay here again.

This is one of the best KOA campgrounds in the US. The location is convenient to Rapid City, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Spearfish, and other places to see. The Campground itself is incredibly clean, safe, the sites are level, and everything works properly. The people are incredibly nice. They spend a lot of time out and about maintaining the Campground. The people in the office are super friendly. We are full-time campers and have stayed at over 100 KOA campgrounds. We spent two weeks (plus) here and can’t say enough positive things about this location. Highly recommend!

KOA members for many years..we RV 6 months a year and have spent time in every state...RV'd to Alaska thru Canada. Have stayed at many RV parks. Also Good Sam mbrs: my husband a veteran..did 21 1/2 yrs retired USMC Major. Both in our late 70s. I'm on oxygen 24/7 so my machine needs power to provide oxygen. There's always a first..& the KOA Rapid City, SD is a first for us to have people bare face lied to our faces ..more than once. Plus they treated another RV traveler parked next us the same by lying to them about something else. I would not come here again, nor would I recommend to anyone. Spent 3 nites here. No one has ever bothered to apologize even after being called & caught in the lies. We leave 2morrow & shall never return. I wish for them what they deserve..what goes round, comes round. If you wish to know more & there is more, I'll be glad to share. If anyone else has had problems, please post it...we need to watch out for each other!

I had to reserve 2 camp sites for sturgis bike week and they were very accommodating. Emailed that I actually wanted 2 of the same site because I reserved online. They even had them together for us which is impressive for that week. Check in is until 9 pm and can call in late check-ins, which we did since we had a breakdown. Very clean showers and bathrooms especially when it was packed . Pool was amazing. Quiet laid back camping. And right in rapid city for quick necessities runs.

Great, well kept park. The pool and playground are great for the kids to unwind after a long day exploring the black hills area. Very quiet, especially for the week before the bike rally. Can wait to see the new building when it's finished. Hope we make it back this way soon!
