Old school simple campground not well cared for. Most sites are fair sized and pretty level parking pads. A mix of dirt, weeds, gravel and trees. Electric and water are good, but their sewer system seems overwhelmed. It was full when I uncapped to hook up my hose, sorta gross. And, there were some strange people around ,one being a car parked outside the CG entrance with what looked looking like a shot out rear window during an incredible thunderstorm .

Me and my fiance have been staying here for 2 months we are extending again! I must say the things I noticed are management is great they care about the kids a lot the people are friendly and it's a very peaceful stay wifi don't reach the back of the lots but that's no issue for us as we have our own. I absolutely recommend you stay here if your coming to the Sioux falls area they have the most reasonable prices all the hook ups and friendly people it don't get better then that!

A person answered the phone !(which is unusual). AND gave me excellent directions and changed my site from in the sun, to a shaded area, due to the high temps today without us even asking!! So happy we found this place!!!!

Our stay at Red Barn was a one night stay 09/20/24. Our reservation for this was made in July. We arrived and checked in with Brian, he was pleasant. We went to our site, didn't venture from it and left early the next morning. The campground, at least the part we saw appeared to be fairly rundown, that's all I'll say as we will never stay there again. Our problems began when we were back home and checking the charges on our credit card statement. They had also charged us for 09/11/24. We called and were told we had made a reservation for that evening and never showed up. Completely untrue and if that's the case why didn't Brian mention it on the 20th when we checked in.Anyway we asked them to credit our card and they said they couldn't but they could send us a check, it never arrived and when we called back it was like starting at the beginning again. They never had any intention of reimbursing us so we had to file a fraudulent charge claim with our credit card company. The good news is we were credited for the charge. In calling Red Barn, numerous times during this process we spoke with Brian and a woman, not sure of her name. Brian seemed to be a bit more reasonable than the woman, she even hung up on us. Bottom line, there seems to be some real problems with management here and like I said before we will never stay here again.

Great little find! Nice sites - with many trees. Decent laundry. There are a few longer term folks but the vibe is good. Site was nice and level and we had a concrete pad next to us (not all sites have). Would definitely stay again.
