Red Fleet State Park, located just north of Vernal, Utah, offers a striking contrast of red sandstone cliffs and deep blue water. Often referred to by locals as "Little Bryce" due to its jagged rock formations, this park provides a scenic backdrop for RVers looking to explore the rugged beauty of the high desert. The centerpiece of the park is the 750-acre reservoir, which serves as a major recreational hub for both water sports and quiet relaxation in a stunning geological setting.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
The standout attraction within the park is the dinosaur trackway, where visitors can hike a scenic trail to see preserved footprints left by dinosaurs over 200 million years ago. Boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding are popular activities on the calm waters of the reservoir. For those willing to drive a short distance, Dinosaur National Monument is less than 30 minutes away, offering world-class fossil viewing and ancient petroglyphs that cement this region as a prehistoric wonderland.

This camp has recently been updated and they did a wonderful job. The Bathrooms and showers are clean and plentiful. The campground sites are paved and flat. Each picnic table is covered. And most importantly the views are amazing. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

The campground here is newly renovated and exceptional, with large and well-spaces campsites that all have amazing views. There are also some excellent hiking trails in the park (Battleship was my favorite), great mountain biking, and a wonderful reservoir for paddle boarding. We spent five nights here in early September and had all the trails to ourselves.

Really cool place. In the state park, there are camp space, boat ramp and rental paddle sports activity. Shore is little muddy, so not good for beach fun, but good for water sports. Especially, in the opposite side of boat ramp, there is real dinosaur tracks. You can reach there by accross the water, or once get out the park and drive few minutes to the trail head. We walked to access by trail. In the trail, some scenery points and it's little difficult to notice the way but you can find black dinosaur track marker on the rock or orange tape on the branch. If you prepared to water gear, you could have more fun around the dinosaur tracks, like dive from the criff!

Place looks great with all the new amenities but I would like to see better access or easier access to water for smaller vessels like cubes, paddle boards and kayaks. The bathrooms and picnic tables with the covers are nice, the new water slides too. Overall it's a very nice place that we enjoyed and plan to come back to again.
