Red Lodge KOA Journey

Very well kept KOA near Red Lodge (10 Mins), Beartooth Highway (25 mins) and NE entrance to Yellowstone (1hr 45min). People working there are super nice. Sites are level with full hookups. Can accommodate any size vehicle. Has a large dog park, laundry and rest rooms, plus a jump pad for kids and bikes to rent/use. The Road in front (hwy 212) is extremely loud. If you would Like a quieter stay, request a site that is behind the office building (site number 22 or higher)

Excellent RV Park. The pride of ownership is obvious in this park which is in fact managed by the owners. They provide plenty of space between the RV’s, some of which have nicely furnished concrete patios. The private bathrooms are also a plus as is the large play area for dogs. They also helped me fix a problem with my RV without hesitation. I will definitely be back!

LOVED this place. The owners are really on it! They are friendly, accommodating, and give attention to details. Best KOA I have ever stayed at. There is a creek that runs through the property, they have a nice, clean dog park, and the grounds are perfect. Great place to stay for base camp to hit the Bear Tooth Highway for the day.

This KOA is nestled right in the mountains of Red Lodge and is the perfect location! The facilities (the store, the bathrooms, the laundry room) are all immaculate. The owners are the most professional, friendly people you will ever meet. They love their campground and love helping others learn to love camping and exploring Montana. They were so welcoming and shared lots of tips on where to go, what to do, where to eat - EVERYTHING! The campground is located about an hour outside of Yellowstone and is the perfect home base for doing day trips or perfect stop on your way thru to other stops. We highly recommend this KOA.

Best KOA ever. The owners are the nicest people you could meet. The campground is beautiful and well maintained. The bathrooms and shower units are extremely clean. We stayed in a little cabin by a babbling brook. Can't wait for our next stay. Thank you Jason for taking the time to have a conversation with us. Eric and Susan from North Dakota.

I really enjoy the Red Lodge KOA. I am staying there with my parents for a couple days as we are visiting Montana for my cousin's wedding. What a great place to stay while we are there celebrating with family! 👍😁

We stayed one night (August 28) in a camping cabin. We loved it! There's a mini fridge, heater and small ceiling fan in them. The bathrooms are clean. I loved that the showers are actually plastic showers and no hard mats! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Packed in pretty tight, but that's to be expected anymore.
