We have come here for 2 years now. The kids love getting together and enjoy time outside with each other. The staff is literally the best! the bed situation in the loft area. We love coming to your campground because it gives ours kids the ability to come together for an uninterrupted weekend together! All three of our kiddos are autistic and this place is great. The beds are horrible in both places we’ve stayed, in 51, the loft bed has springs poking out making sleeping impossible! Please upgrade your beds or put futon mattresses up there, something to make it bearable. Also, the pool says it’s heated but it is freezing, maybe turn up the heat a bit if it is heated at all. I have fibromyalgia and going into that water feels like I am going into an ice bath. It is so cold. Another thing, last year when we came, you did a foam party that all three kids loved and that was one of the reasons we came back, this year that didn’t happen and it was a big let down. Again, these are little things that would truly make the experience better.

My husband and I went in on Monday and left Saturday morning. The campground is a bit remote with little cell phone service and no wifi. You can purchase wifi while you are there. We did and had no issues. The campground is well maintained. The bathrooms are cleaner than any gas station that I have been in. The store has a little bit of everything and the best Hershey's ice cream! There are lots of activities for the kids. Their pool is cleaned every day. There are trails to walk. We went in and it was quiet. By Friday evening it was hustling and bustling with campers, the sounds of kids' laughter, and decorating for Halloween! All of the campers we talked to were friendly and stopped to talk in passing. We will definitely be making a trip back! (WalMart and Aldi are in Warren, about 20 minutes away if you forget anything)

The actual campground is and has always been amazing. The previous owners and managers cared about the campers and the community. The new managers don't care about the campers, their employees or really anything. They've destroyed any goodwill that they could've had with the campers by bringing in a Megan's Law contestant and then DEFENDING HIM. They brought him in from their other campground knowing his background, only getting rid of him after seasonal campers found out. They do not know how to treat employees as is evidenced by their Facebook reviews. The previous owners were out and about all the time, you'd regularly see Steve running around helping out. The new managers don't leave the house unless they have to. We were there during a band night and they rode their little golf cart out, drew the 50/50 and then drove back to their house without so much as a word to the guests. These people obviously don't know how to manage a campground, because in one season they've destroyed the reputation that Steve and Joann spent years building.

The campground itself is a nice place, the staff if amazing and all around a great atmosphere. The only complaint would be if you’re renting a cabin to not waste your money and bring a tent or your own camper. The cabins barely have any amenities or appliances. If they do they are mostly broken or in need of repair. For example the air conditioning, blinds, porches, awnings etc. the park also charges for WiFi which is an additional cost the park is getting some of. For the amount of money many of individuals spend there it does not appear much is being put back into the place. The pool is all patched up and most of the games in the game room do not even work.

A very quiet campground, great for getting away from normal life. About a half hour drive to civilization, and 5-10 minutes away from 2 boat launches. Have stayed here for the last 4 years consecutively, and have a great experience every time
