Red Oak Travel Park
Overview
Red Oak Travel Park offers a peaceful escape nestled within the scenic countryside of Eden, Ontario. This well-established campground is defined by its namesake mature red oak trees, which provide a natural forest canopy and significant shade for visitors. It serves as a comfortable home base for travelers looking to experience the slower pace of rural life while remaining within easy reach of popular lakeside destinations along the North Shore of Lake Erie.
Location & Surroundings
Situated in the Municipality of Bayham, the park is surrounded by the rich agricultural landscapes of Southwestern Ontario. The location in Eden provides a quiet atmosphere away from the noise of major highways, yet it remains conveniently accessible for those exploring the region. The surrounding area is characterized by rolling farm fields and quiet country roads, making the park a serene destination for those who appreciate scenic rural vistas and a connection to nature.
Amenities & Park Features
The park is equipped with features designed for both comfort and community engagement. Guests can enjoy a large outdoor swimming pool, which serves as a central hub for activity during the summer months. The grounds include a playground for children and horseshoe pits for friendly competition. Most sites offer full hookups to accommodate modern RV needs. Additionally, a recreation hall provides space for community events, fostering a welcoming environment for both seasonal residents and short-term travelers.
Nearby Attractions & Things to Do
A short drive from the park leads to the sandy shores of Port Burwell Provincial Park, a premier destination for swimming, hiking, and birdwatching. History enthusiasts often visit the HMCS Ojibwa, a Cold War-era submarine located in nearby Port Burwell. The region is also famous for its local farm markets, where visitors can purchase fresh seasonal produce, including the area's renowned berries and corn, directly from the producers who call this region home.
Who This Park Is Best For
This park is an excellent choice for families and retirees who appreciate a community-oriented atmosphere and a natural, wooded setting. It is particularly well-suited for travelers seeking a long-term seasonal stay or those touring the Lake Erie region who prefer a quiet, shaded retreat over a high-traffic lakeside resort. If you value a friendly, small-town feel and a peaceful environment for your RV adventure, Red Oak Travel Park is an ideal fit.

Great park! We have been here on family business for 3 or 4 years now. We are tenters and Donnie (Dale, in previous years helped us) always finds us a spot to stay for the time we need. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
