Great time we had great weather and the staff was extremely helpful. You're going to need 5 1/2 6 hours to do the trip.

I've stayed in the primitive camping area several times now and always a great experience. Camping spots overlook the river and offer privacy and natural shade. There are picnic tables and firepits scattered throughout campground. There are bathrooms by the office that contain clean toilets and showers. Canoe/kayak service is wonderful. Bus takes you upriver to drop site and you boat back down to camp. There's a lot of parking available for people who prefer to use the river shuttle but not camp. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Annual Tie dye festival is a lot of fun. Highly, highly recommend.

10/10! My husband and I have gone here for years. We went again today because we’re visiting home. Jeffrey was SO kind and helpful when we checked in. It was a beautiful float. No complaints (per usual lol.) We have always adored this place. It’s a gem.

Fun times. I paid with cash & printed the liability forms ahead of time. Which I would recommend in case there is a line. I would also recommend calling ahead to reserve a canoe or kayak on the weekend. They provide life jackets & the paddles. No glass or styrofoam.

We decided to camp here when the shuttle service and kayak, canoe rentals were shut down got the season. So I feel it was a less of an experience than I was expecting. Not a bad place, we'll be visiting again, but only when everything is in full operation. The photos I've added, were taken directly in front of my tent overlooking the river. Now we've been when the camp, shuttle service and river was running wide open. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And I have to add that we weren't sure if we could stay because of the flooding in the previous weeks. But the crew GOT 'ER DONE!!! They had all the debris rake out of the way, roads regraded, and countless hours of laborious work to make that happen. We want to say Thank you for a job well done. Not just me, but I speak for our whole group that stayed over Easter Weekend 4/20/2025. We are already anticipating another trip to hang out in the water with y'all. Highly recommended in my opinion.

Made my voice and some friends go here a lot they have camping canoe kayak rentals just swimming in the river whatever you want to do it's lots of fun fun for the family or just to go by yourself

This is one of the most relaxing and beautiful unknown places in Tennessee. Don't be afraid of the witch stuff.

This place was cool. Had a river trip cancel on us and found this last minute. Rented a canoe and a campsite and had a great time. Shower house on site. Besides that, primitive camping. They sell firewood on site as well.
