We reserved a space away from the bathrooms but they ignored our request and put us in that spot with no notice. Then the bathroom is locked and has a code. I tried this code multiple times and it doesn’t work. I called the office and leave a message I sent them an email and no one got back to me at all. So I was unable to use the restroom or the shower.

We stayed in a basic a tent site which was fine for what we needed on our short stay. Highway noise is a thing, bring earplugs. Bathrooms were in need of clean, feces on the floor, dust and dirt accumulating, and TP everywhere. Host was responsive to book the site, but unavailable while we were there. Woke up to a resident skunk in our site both mornings we were there. So many other places to stay that are much nicer and well maintained. This campground has so much potential but has been clearly neglected.

New owners park is still a work in progress. Dead grass, weeds everywhere! The park is in bad shape hopefully the new owners will make the improvements soon. Otherwise it's a great location near the beach, shopping and a little hard to find! Other than the grounds looking trashed I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed here for the first time a couple years ago, great experience in 2023. Unfortunately not the case for my most recent stay this weekend. Ownership amd management had changed. Property upkeep is not good. When we arrived on Friday there was trash in the fire pit, inside floors were not swept or clean and worst part only 1 of the toilets was flushing and when we tried calling the after hour line. There was no response. I then attempted to call in the morning when NOONE showed up for the office or little store on site. I left for a coffee and returned to find the bathroom nearest our cabin is now completely closed and still noone in the office at 11:45am. We ended up with access to the handicap bathroom which was nice but I was just disappointed to see an amazing place going downhill.

Called numerous times to book a reservation. No one answers the phone. Left messagre with no return calls. Booking on websire does not work. I guess they don't want any new bookings.
