We just rented a camper spot for the night there, doing a PNW road trip up the coast. Beautiful campground! Super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone

Unfortunately pretty location is the only thing it’s got, and friendly staff. Those are the reasons I am not giving it one star. We stayed for a couple of nights in the main cabin, not the campgrounds. The people above us were having a party until 10 pm with kids and guests from other parts of the campground, and the noise was unbearable. The kids were playing outside yelling and throwing shoes out the window, and the parents didn’t care, they even had an active flame unattended. Different employees from the pub even came out twice to call them out and they did not care. Thankfully, the staff could accommodate us in another room for the next night. Although we were up at 6 am anyway because the people above us were walking around. The floors are super super creaky so every time the people above you wake up, you will be awake too. You can even hear their TV and their conversations. The beds are horrible, super super soft. The bathrooms are clean but the floors are dirty. You can see my socks in the picture; I had worn them for one hour before going to bed and they were black. Problem is that there are no competitive lodging options up there. It is very rural and there is no service or internet anywhere.

They have Plinny on tap. 10/10 Incredible spot. There are trees in my campsite that are massive. Eel River is so close. Short and steep hike to swim in crystal clear water. Waterholes and even a rope swing. Even if it's over 90 degrees. That river is worth it. This camp site isn't very secluded or private. But it's not a fault. We met lots of super dope people. My daughter made friends. It's loud at night. But beautiful. All these people coming together to enjoy the same thing. If you aren't into the resort thing there are so many places close by like Confusion Hill or drive up the Avenue of Giants to the Immortal Tree. It's all relatively close. I would come here again. The vibe was on point. Great family spot. EDIT: Made this review before I left. It was very busy on the weekend. We also stayed Monday night. Super quiet. Go on the weekend for active atmosphere and friendly people. Go during the week for a more secluded experience with friendly people. We loved it all. I also should mention how friendly the staff were.

We've stayed many times and attended events here. Great people and resort. The English Pub has a cozy family feel with delicious food and good selection of drinks. I love watching the continuous improvements and additions they've added. River access is convenient and clean. We sometimes drive up to have dinner and haven't been disappointed.

Stayed here with the family and it really felt like a resort. The store had everything we needed; we forgot a few staple items and the store had them! The pool was great since we couldn’t walk down to the river with our stroller for the baby. The playground was amazing and the kids loved playing there all day! Bathrooms were always clean and stocked. The bar and food were delicious and well worth the stay. Hope to stay at one of the cabins next time! We stayed at a campsite and enjoyed the peace and seclusion of our site (campsite 2). Bring bug spray or repellent, lots of mosquitoes at our site.
