Excellent location to camp for the Great Race. Would be 5 stars if there were extra bathrooms provided, but regardless of the time of day or night during the Bathurst 1000, there's a massive line-up for the showers and toilets.

Great ground, but the bathroom facilities are rough. I understand it was a bit muddy, but man - the place should have been cleaner than that.

Good flat camping areas with easy access to clean toilets. There is a kiddies play area and fantastic 360° views of Bathurst and surrounds.

The location itself has absolutely beautiful views. The campsite facilities are fairly basic (note: there is no site power, bring your own) but are clean and functional. The identification of individual plots is hit and miss, you rely on your neighbours for guidance. Obviously you come here for a motorsport event - I attended the 12 hour race - and the neighbours were fun, helpful and well behaved. So don't believe everything you have heard about The Mountain...The motor racing was outstanding!
