Water enthusiasts can spend days paddling through the calm bays of the lake or exploring the nearby river systems by canoe. For those on land, the area is excellent for wildlife observation, with frequent sightings of moose, black bears, and a variety of migratory birds. The network of forest roads and trails offers endless opportunities for exploration and nature photography.

Fabulous park with a variety of wilderness campgrounds.... also have places with hookups. Staff are friendly and helpful .... facilities are clean. A bounus is that canoes are available to rent at some sites.

This place is overfished. I have been to many Sepaqs and this is the first time in many trips where we caught nothing. They send you to lottery lakes and in over 14h of fishing we got not a single bite. I think there is poor park management here. The staff as well is completely clueless. When asking for tips, their only answer was did you try a worm. Yes I tried a worm, and every other form of fishing possible. There is no fish in your lakes, or we got some bad lakes that should not be included in the lake attributions. Never again, fishermen beware of this park! Go to verendrye instead.

Lac Sucreries - Ready To Camp June weekend We picked a great time to decide to finally glamp after all our years of rough/rustic camping and boondocking. For the $160/night during high season - given the weather we had of a couple days of sun and two days of pouring rain, it was worth the money! Otherwise if purely good weather - it's a bit pricey. The kitchen is stocked better than most airbnbs! The stove provided is induction - so so, took a LONG time to boil water. The beds were comfy (pillows provided) - bring your own sheets and blankets! Very spacious with lake access, lacks privacy outside though! Space heater did well on nights that it dipped to 9-11C. As with everything Quebec - all signs are in French, but the info center guy spoke English well! So -make sure if you have questions - ask!

Beautiful views if you’re able to find a campsite by the lake. The drive from Montréal is scenic and picturesque. Staff is wonderful and the facilities are good. Beware of the hungry mosquitoes and be prepared with bug spray to partially tackle them. I had fully covered clothes on and bug spray all over me but still got attacked and am dealing with nasty bites.

Outstanding camping. There are maybe 30-35 spots max so it’s secluded and quiet. Well serviced washrooms with hot water. The spots were nice, although not very private. Was made up for by the views of the lake and the quiet of the night. Canoes were available for rent. Showers cost two quarters, so have change.
