We enjoyed our time at Restoule provincial park. It offers a variety of activities including hiking, biking, canoeing, it was to cold for me to use the beach, but there is a beach, boat launch, and dock. The comfort station was clean, the water could have been warmer but it was functional. The fire tower hike was enjoyable with a great view from the top and I highly recommend it. There is also a dog beach and a fenced in leash free area. It was a very popular park for dogs with just a couple of sites not having dogs.

It’s a delightful experience to camp here this Thanksgiving. The leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange and gold, creating a stunning tapestry of colors under the beautiful sunshine. The air becomes crisp and refreshing, making it perfect for hiking. Hills and forests are adorned with a blanket of colorful foliage. Walking on trails is such a pleasure and delightful. The only downside was the boiler of our campsite washroom malfunctioned, we couldn’t take a warm shower after a long hiking… Otherwise it was perfect day.

Restoule Provincial Park is a great place! My family and I stayed at Kettle Point Campground during the last week of August, and we really enjoyed it. The campsites are nice and well-kept, although they don’t offer much privacy. The main beach is shallow, which is perfect for children. There are some fantastic hiking trails, and both Restoule Lake and Stormy Lake are excellent for boating and fishing. Plus, they’re absolutely beautiful. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to spend time!

Quiet, no sounds of a highway or roads Skies were beautiful at night as there is minimal light pollution. Big lakes to paddle 6 trails. 4 pretty rugged. River trail rugged but small loop. Fire Tower trail great view. If you only want the Scenic Lookout of Stormy Lake go up the left side of trial at the second sign in. There will be a jagged rock stead incline up but is the shortest walk to lookout. Wear sturdy shoes and you might like to bring a walking stick. Takes 2 hours of steady walking. Took us three but I’m older and we stopped for awhile at the lookout. Q Rangers Point an easy walk with a nice view and a couple of picnic tables in those scenic areas Has a moderate incline Angels Point start is in Kettle Point campground area. Easy enough. Day use areas along the river with picnic tables. Also has paddle sport rentals there in summer. In fall pay at office pick up at various spots through out park.if camping here. They also have bike rentals.

Spent only one night here at Kettle Point site 467. Was shaded with beautiful trees mostly sandy and levelled grounds. Each site comes with 2 picnic tables, fire pit, and privacy was great. Comfort station had showers which were very clean and the water was hot. I found this provincial park with very clean laundry facilities. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. The star gazing was amazing from the lake at night. People were friendly and park was fairly quiet. Dog beach was great, we enjoyed the water and made a few friends. Paddle boarding on the lake was great, not much boat traffic and the water was warm and clean. Overall was a magical getaway, and highly recommend bringing your loved one here for a romantic experience. Definitely coming next year for sure. Next time going to spend more nights there.
