Love this place. What a huge and beautiful property. Lots to do in the area and lots of walking to be done around the park, the water, and look out.

My family and I make a point to camp at least 2 weeks each summer. A week in July and a week in August. Rideau Acres Campground is definitely one of our favorite places to come. Large sites, beach and pool, cute farm consisting mainly of geese and ducks, a playground and mini golf. You can also enjoy many other activities as well. The Campground is clean and the bathrooms are regular toilets as well as showers in there own designated rooms. If you enjoy walking and hiking bring your outdoor shoes and enjoy the trails that lead up to the top of a mountain with some beautiful views. Last but not least the staff is polite and helpful as well as very accommodating. Very pleased and enjoy our time here each summer.

Lovely large campground. They have considerations for not putting campers in between large travel groups. Thank-you. Much appreciated. Seasonals here wave say hello. Safe. It is lovely to leisurely cycle around this campground.

The park is OK but could be great. They are surrounded by water. There are a mixture of sites that are shaded or minimal shade. There are a lot of geese here. So if you get a site close to the water, there will be a ton of goose crap. And if you're not familiar with it, it is like a small dog crapping all over your lawn. There is quite a bit of stagnant water around. So that means a lot of mosquitoes too! There are only 4 washrooms for the entire park. So depending on where you are, you will have to walk. There is only 1 laundry facility. And you will have to drive to it if you're further in the park. They have boat docks. And boat rentals. Only one pool. And it is by the entrance. What bothered me is how dusty the roads are. I mean insanely dusty. If you have a diesel pusher (big fan pushing air out the back) your radiator, CAC and whatever you have being towed will be filthy. I had our electric bikes on a hitch and they were a mess. (See before and after pics). They have a mini putt and disc golf course. There is only 1 dumpster and it is by the entrance. If you were staying awhile, that would wear on you. It is on the pricey side for the lack of amenities.

We were here during the off season. Left just before the park officially opened. When we first arrived, the water was still off and the place was a mess, I would have given it two stars. However, we spent a month here and during that time they did do a lot of work cleaning things up. It's a nice park, I find it to be pricey. I've only given it three stars as it is very rundown, washrooms, laundry, pool area, lodge and amenities all need a good renovation. Plus some of the season camping spots with permanent trailer on them (this takes up at least 50% of the park) looked like they were left to ruin...... Bottom line, it's a nice place, pricey, but need a lot of work done. The duck pond was a highlight...

It is a nice and well maintained park. It is very much a private park though, if you're looking for a provincial park like experience you won't find it here. The trade off for the trailers being stacked in next to each other is you'll have more amenities (full hook ups, pool, mini putt, etc). Different strokes for different folks.

We enjoyed our stay the past two nights! Beautiful views, nice amenities, and friendly people, and great price. I would say my only suggestion would be a few more showers or change rooms for those who are tenting- but had a great time! Would love to come again!

Plus, grass was cut on the rally field. Registration was chaotic. Lots of rigs arrived at the same time, and no one to guide us as what to do. 2 full lines of vehicles . Bad way to start. On the negative side, they're are 2 shower stalls in the washroom near us. One was in the middle of being fixed. It seems obvious to me that a note would be placed on the door to the shower. It wasn't, so I undress to find myself looking at a missing shower head. Got dressed again. Went to the other shower. The shower has a note letting you know that the hot water keeps getting hotter. The tap itself was a button that you pushed in. The original water was freezing. What's wrong with a shower with a tap that allow me to choose the temp of the water. The men's washroom near us, it said it not working. I feel like talking to management. That's it for my current

We stayed for 7days and enjoyed the campground very much. The staff was friendly and the park was clean. We walked with our dog all over the campground. We loved going into Kingston to look around.

Great place to go camping in a tent, RV or trailer. Lots to do for kids and adults. Great staff also.
