This campsite is the worst we've stayed at. There is no pool, washrooms and laundry are locked. There are no fire pits and there is lots of garbage. The grounds were not manicured. If you ran AC and hot water for a shower, you tripped the breaker. The owner was rude, saying that's your problem. The only 2 positive things were strong wifi included in the price and it was close to Ottawa. I do not recommend.

5 stars to the manager, Raul! Great fella with a kind heart and always a welcoming big smile to match. The manager does a great job of keeping up the park. Raul spends much of his time making sure his guest's are happy. (It's no Disneyland Theme Park) However, it is safe, friendly and clean. Definitely nice place to bring the kids and pets. The park is located near everything and so easy to catch a bus, walk and doesn't cost much for fuel to do some touring. The homes close by are well looked after which as well adds a nice addition for a walk around the neighborhood. Long term or short term stay are both worthwhile and the rates are competitively priced. Enjoy!

We stayed one night on are way thru Ottawa . It’s located very near to the airport, therefore very central. Has full service Motorhome connections. The campground was open but the showers were open yet for the season. Very pleasant campground superintendent.

Quiet little site in the heart of the city. Very clean and well lit washrooms. Bog amd stromg picnic tables on every site with a nice burn out as well. The price is really good for the value. The Wi-Fi is really good.

Only positive point is that camp site is close to Ottawa city centre. Facilities out dated, noisy location in industrial area; trucks, train and airport.

The manager is a little rough around the edges but he deals with a lot of abusive people who try to take advantage of him due to his age, people abuse the rules, they don't pay, all sorts of mayhem he has to put up with. So if you can look beyond that and understand it, he's a really nice hearted person who is trying to run a safe & controlled campsite in a busy urban area. I like staying there because it's so central to everything in ottowa, you can't beat it in terms of location. Everything everyone else here is saying about the manager is just his rough personality, but they shouldn't judge the campsite based on that.

We stayed here for two nights recently and it was an older campground but very clean and well kept. We were presently surprised as we just picked this place at random. There seems to be two older men that look after things and they honestly did not stop working the whole time we were there! Friendly people who obviously take great pride in there grounds. We would definately stay their again. Great stop over place that is close to all of the sights.

The camp ground was acceptable. The sites were small and bunched together, which was fine considering it was right in the city. If you are looking to see the sites in Ottawa inexpensively this might be an option. There is one thing to keep in mind, it is not a quiet site. No fault of the owner as it is directly next to a train track and a stones throw from the airport. If you're looking for quiet, this isn't for you. I felt the owner was a little bit difficult to understand as his first language was french. Some people could get the wrong idea about the guy by the way he communicates. I didn't have an issue with him. Be sure to bring cash! There is no credit or debit.
