My plans for Nova Scotia was cancelled because they closed the outdoors, and New Brunswick had the heat dome happen which to then I had to map out new plans and didnt know yet where to go or what to do. Camped here by random chance, a lady who was on a golf cart recommended a ferry ride in Matane and then to see the dam going up towards lac mannitouac as it would be cooler temperature wise there. I tried it! She also recommended the beach near the campsite! Gorgeous! A random stay gave me the best plans, the most memorable birthday and the best memories with my companion dog of 7 years that has stage 3 kidney disease. If i didnt come here I wouldn't have gotten to see this side of Quebec and I am in love with the country now I appreciate the kindness and patience with the staff as I don't speak French. It was the place to stay. Great facilities, quiet at night, beautiful beach nearby. Thank you to the wonderful lady on staff that helped me with my plans! You seriously gave me the directions for the best memories, and better plans than I originally had for Canada! and Thank Camp Rimouski for such hospitality! New favorite provience is Quebec! Anyone who lives here is so very fortunate to see such beauty daily!

The sites are very close together with nothing between you and your neighbor. You do get a picnic table. Pay showers and toilets are clean There is a nice nature trail and a fun playground area. Little camp store has basic food and beverages. There is a There is a small motel on the property. We didn’t use it. Employees were super kind and told us all sorts of fun things to do in the area.

Stayed in the motel room, it was gorgeous- perfectly clean , quiet and nice. The biggest plus point is that it felt safe being there and there was so much to see and do around the location. The service was amazing, the owners went above and beyond for all guests. Would love to come here every year and would definitely recommend to others as well.
