We have been coming here for 20 years, love it. Unfortunately this year it was full so we had to rent somewhere else. The park attendant is year, nasty. Not friendly at all, and when I asked to blow up a floatie was very rude especially when she found out we were not staying. Wow!! The friendly attitude we have always been met with is definitely not her. Will rent elsewhere from now on! Can't spare 5min of power to blow a floatie, when her whole trailer and lights are plugged in all day

Nice location however avoid it. Drunk native was in the bathroom with a bottle of whiskey and started harassing me and then followed me through the campground. Had to run away. Then these guys are up until 3am yelling and keeping everyone up. No intervention from the campground staff. One bathroom for the whole campground so good luck if you stay here

Wonderful place. Leave your generator at home so folks have a peaceful camp please!

Where do I start. Phoned ahead and was told tenting sites were “always available”. Asked if I could reserve a site and was told they are “always available”. Drive two hours to get to a nice campground that was bursting at the seams. People camped everywhere with hardly a space between the tents. No one in the office and no one answering the phone number posted on the office door. Finally asked a passer by where the staff were, he pointed to the large camper beside the office. Went to the camper and spoke to the same lady had talked to on the phone, the accent gave her away. She said I hadn’t spoken to anyone and that sites were booked for the next few weeks. She did offer to put us somewhere for the night but I declined and left to find somewhere to spend the night.

Nice quiet spot with a great view and pretty large sites. Bathrooms are okay, but are the one thing holding this place back. Showers take $1 coins only, camp host can provide change. Does sell firewood, its $20 for a wheelbarrow full of it.

Moved here age 5 in 1952 at height of polio epidemic. It was a great place for a kid, woods, beach and mine. Lived in a tent, 3 feet of snow! Those were the days lol.

Beautiful campground. Beach is great and scenery is spectacular. Campsites could have been raked. Definitely will return.
