We stayed here three nights in the duplex 1940 cabins. It was a great location inside the East entrance with easy access to the sites and trails. The restaurant and general store on site made our trip so much better

Our favorite place to camp when in Glacier. FCFS no reservations. Tent camping and nothing larger than a class B.

One of the few places that offer public showers in the area. There is only one single shower stall, and the short 8-min timed shower required 3 minutes for the water to get warm. Overall it was acceptable if you really need a shower.

Our family stayed in 2 small but nice cabins that were built in 1941. We had our own bathrooms and a large wooden storage cabinet. The whole area was quiet with great views of the mountains. Rising Sun has a good restaurant called Two Dog Flats with very tasty and healthy food options with moderate to high prices. The picnic area across the road was closed because a mother bear and cub had been visiting there. There is a camp store with some basic food, camping supplies and gifts. All of the prices in the store are extremely high! So be sure to stock up on everything before hand. The staff at Rising Sun is very helpful and friendly.

Awesome campground with good views. A close drive to many popular things including Logan pass and going to the sun road. Come early for the best chance at getting a spot. Bathrooms are nice. If you want to shower you gotta but tokens at the gift shop near by

Few spots Lake McDonald (West Glacier) and Rising Sun (East Glacier) I'm still here at Glacier National Park experience of a lifetime.

Nice campground, close to other campers but also to a beautiful creek. Each campsite comes with a firepit and picnic table. Bathrooms were decently clean. Would stay again!

We planned to camp here but it was closed to tent campers because of high bear activity. Not a big fan I had to drive halfway across the hemisphere to find another campsite. I suppose that's better than furnishing a bear's supper though. So maybe call ahead before you stake your night on showing up late and getting to stay here.

At the moment it is closed for anyone with a hard sided cameper due to Grizzle activity almost daily but that made it all the easier to get a spot! Only 10$ with the 50% parks pass discount. No showers, water, portable toilet dump.
