We had such a wonderful time at River Bottom Family Farm Campground this weekend! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming—my kids couldn’t wait to see them each day. The campground offers so many fun activities for kids rain or shine, including candy bar bingo, crafts, ceramic painting, mad science labs, and even a mining sluice. This weekend kicked off their No Scare Halloween celebration, and it was a hit with our family! The kids loved dressing up for the costume contest and going trick-or-treating around the campground. It was the perfect blend of fun, safe, and family-friendly. We can’t wait to come back—thank you River Bottom Family Farm Campground for helping us make such special memories!

Labor Day weekend was my family's second time visiting, and we have nothing but great things to say. The campground is quaint, kid-friendly, safe, clean, and well maintained. I've never seen another campground go through the extra effort to involve the kids like Riverbottom Farms. Connor(sp?) was great with the kids and the staff were efficient and friendly. We were also pleasantly surprised by a Sunday Morning outdoor church service. Always a great experience. Can't wait to return.

I have camped just about all of my life. We chose to become seasonal campers in 2018 and have kept our trailer parked at a few locations long term. I can say hands down that River Bottom Farms is one of the best campgrounds that we have ever been to. The southern hospitality that was shown when we arrived was BEYOND compare. Dana and Miss Susan made us feel welcome the first time we spoke on the phone. We moved from PA and had someone tow our trailer to the campground and we didn’t even need to be there to greet them. Dana, Miss Susan, and Connor handled everything and let me know that all was good once the job was completed. All of our interactions at the campground have been nothing but fun, happy, and memory making. We have participated in candy bingo, ceramic painting, jumping pillow, swimming, fishing, walking the trail, and even harassing the geese a little bit. :) The atmosphere is serene and calming, exactly what we need at the end of a long work week. If you’re looking for intimate family time and a quiet, serene place to create wonderful family memories, you won’t be disappointed!

We are frequent flyers at River Bottom Farms. We love Susan and Dana and everything that they do for the children as well. I saw a couple of recent reviews where it was stated that the staff was disrespectful, however, I personally have never seen any of the staff being disrespectful or discriminatory. Yes, they can be strict when it comes to following the rules, but it's a great feeling to know that your safety as a camper is one of their highest priorities. The campground, bathrooms, and pool areas are always clean and the kids always have a wonderful time. We especially had a great time this past weekend watching the watermelon seed spitting contest and all of the lovely young ladies who participated in the watermelon eating contest. Thank you both (and of course we can't forget Connor for keeping the grass cut and the grounds clean) for making our home away from home so enjoyable. See you all again soon! ♥

5 stars on rooms meaning we had a beautiful tent site. We stayed for July 4th weekend and hated to leave! Every person we met was amazing! We both had the best time even just hanging out on the porch of the store visiting with the owners and their family. Even with nearly a hundred campers, it was still the most peaceful quiet nights under the clearest starry sky. Cleanest bathrooms/changing rooms I've ever seen and a perfect, gorgeous pool. We had fun at the game room playing pool too. There was one incident with another campsite that disregarded policy and it was handled quickly and respectfully. We have fallen in love with the staff, the campgrounds, and will see them as often as we possibly can!! It's easy to see that this is not just a business, it's a home. Thank you for making us feel welcome!

The place was clean and quiet. The only sound I heard were birds singing. There was a nice area to walk in. We had a nice big pull through site.

I had an amazing time. The people in the office are so nice.I would recommend camping here to everyone. It is quiet and plenty of things for children to do. I will camp here everytime.

Stayed here for 5 weeks. Wonderfully remote and quiet park with some great amenities for children. They have a fenced in dog park and walking trails. The owners are awesome and personable. County road leading to entrance doesn't have a shoulder and there are some dips, just take it a little slow. We love South Carolina and will be back here.

Stayed here this past weekend. Decided to come based off of recommendations about their Halloween activities during each weekend in Oct. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My favorite part of the campground was the layout. I enjoyed the openness in the middle with playground and other activities. I felt very comfortable letting my kids go play at the playground while I stayed at the camper with full view of them. They had many activities planned throughout the weekend with detailed schedule giving at check in. All staff members were very welcoming and friendly. Bath house was very clean. Grounds were in great well kept shape.
