We happen to book 2 weeks at River Lodge on a whim. It turned out great! We met some amazing people and pets! Within 15 minutes of settling in the neighbors next door invited us to dinner with other patrons. The free golf course is rough but fun to play, I highly recommend to join in on the daily group play. To quote a guest who will remain anonymous. "Its a 2 star resort with 5 star people" And that is a fact couldn't have landed in a better place.

Beautiful State Park, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Park Ranger Taylor remembers us from one of the other State Park we camp at. She got us all checked in in a timely fashion. We set up our campsite and started to enjoy our stay. There is no Internet or WiFi service, so if you do stay you would have to set up a Starlink in order to do any streaming or Internet work. The weather was beautiful 85 degrees during the day and 55 degrees at night, you can't asked for better temps.

This place is in a great location along the Colorado River. Park is old and showing its age but you can’t beat the vibe.

RB and public park, very clean, clear water, they have working showers, quiet place to hangout with your family, the great part is that there is no reception, so you can have quality time with your family.

I’d like to give this place 3.5 Stars and that’s because of the kind people. Please be aware that YOU CAN NOT take your RV or trailer over the Dam Bridge the Parker, AZ way (or at all). You have to arrive to this place on the california side. Checking in we couldn’t locate the sewer cap and no one was there to help. It wasn’t till next morning my husband had to dig it from underground about 2.5 ft. It was covered with rocks and dirt. No cap. The water constantly was shut off during our time as well which did inconvenience us a few times. We ended up filling our tank after the second time it happened. And people do let off fireworks here when they’re not supposed to. No Verizon service at all & their wifi is horrible. Lots of Donkeys visit the camp behind a fence at this park. They are cute. They have a lot of little events and things to do and a decent little golf course. Beautiful river views too. Lots of Jeep trails and off road trails around. Lots to explore and see in this area. We’d stay here again. Prices are decent. People are awesome. Park has just had better days.
