My family and I have just completed a stay here. We have been coming here for over 19 years. In my opinion it has really gone down. No WIFI unless you rent a box. They offer TV cable however my cable connection was inoperable as was 2 others that were near by that weren't being used and that my cable would reach to. I called the office and they did send a worker to look at it. He said he would go get some parts to fix it. He never came back. When we called back some hours later the office said it was above that guy's head and would have to call maintenance.Which never happened. Also, the small chapel that was always opened was now locked. I did not use the pool but did notice that it had a lot of tile missing. In my opinion they are focused on tiny houses and long term renters. The neat well kept campground that it always was under the original owner/developer is no more. It is sad to have to write this review as we have a lot of fond memories here. On a positive note the Christmas lights still look good. Other than that not much else.

This is a campground with tiny homes/cabins you can rent, on the coosa river. Love the views and the location is perfect, right off rainbow drive. Very nice staff and every amenity you need while camping. The restaurant is great, everything was excellent. Can’t say enough good things!

We stayed at the Banana House in River Rocks Landing for a quilt retreat. The house is amazing, but the views are incredible! We had plenty of room to spread out. There’s a crazy elevator in the house. It’s a learning curve to use it. The lights are out in it so they put one of those dimly lighted press on lights that you press on and off when you get on and off. I kept thinking twilight zone music should be in there. But if someone leaves the door ever so slightly cracked, you can’t call the elevator to another floor! My only beef with this place was that the code to unlock the door worked only once at check in the week we were there. We were told they were going to fix it, but it never happened. They did replace the coffee maker when it was not functioning. Because the door could not be locked and unlocked, we were pretty much stuck using the elevator, which is slow. There are NO indoor stairs. But again, the VIEWS are incredible and I would definitely stay here again.
