I called on the fly heading into the area with a late expected arrival time. Fran went out of her way to assure I had a site that was easy to find and set up at. The grounds were quiet and anything I would need was available. I will absolutely stay again and would highly recommend to any friends visiting the area

I stopped in today tired, needing a camp spot, a shower and bed. I was greeted in a friendly manner and directed to my spot. I drove around twice stopping well before kids on their bikes and others playing were out of the road as well as campers settling in. I returned to the office because my spot was unmarked with no picnic table. As I got clarification there was none, a fellow camper came barging in saying I need to obey the speed limit asking if that is my truck and how someone needs to give me a talking to. I accused him of lying. I spoke with the management and got a refund. Unfortunately, there are seasonal people there that over police the campground. I felt he his actions were disrespectful and don’t know what his issue was. Hopefully, the manager will review the video surveillance footage and see that I was stopping regularly for pedestrians as well as campers checking in. Heck the person that checked in after me got to their camp spot before I did. Why wasn’t seasonal campground cop not chewing them out. I just don’t get it.

We're always a little nervous trying out a new to us campground but Riverbend exceeded our expectations. There were 2 pleasant ladies to check campers in. Our site was HUGE and right on the river. The entire campground was extremely clean, and well kept. We didn't use the bath house/restrooms, so I can't testify to the cleanliness of those. However if they are maintained as well as the lawns and green spaces, I'm sure they're spotless! My husband loved being able to fish right from our site, and we enjoyed watching the boats go by on a regular basis.

It's not bad the pool is small closes at 8 pm. Small restrooms but they are available and clean. Issue with brown tail moths or I would have given more stars possibly.

Fewer sites than alot of places, but don't like wall to wall anyway ample space and grassy has a store and pool.I can usually guarantee to spot some sort of wildlife on the river which is my main interest in camping, like to kayak and bird watch , especially for herons which I have always been lucky to spot.
