Fantastic camping trip, great golf rates and pleasant staff. Only downfall was our e-bikes were stolen, and recovered with minimal damage. Recommend locking valuables up.

Last summer was supposed to be a heartwarming reunion at Riverdale Park, a spot that holds a special place in our family's history. We were all looking forward to reliving old memories and creating new ones. However, what we encountered there was far from the warm welcome we expected. Right from the start, things felt off. The maintenance staff seemed unusually grumpy and unhelpful. It was like every request we made was met with an eye roll or a sigh of annoyance. But the real trouble started when we were in the middle of a much-needed shower and the water suddenly shut off, leaving us standing there dripping with soap and confusion. We tried to brush it off and salvage the situation, but things only got worse. When we went to ask for a simple garbage bag to toss our dirty clothes in, we were met with a flat-out refusal. It was absurd! We were willing to pay for it, but the office women acted like we were asking for a suitcase full of gold bars. Best part about all this, there relatives of a family member Summary: What pisses me off the most was that Riverdale Park used to feel like a second home to us. We'd spent countless summers there, building traditions and forging bonds. But after this experience, it was like the place had turned its back on us. It's hard to feel welcomed somewhere when even the most basic requests are met with such hostility. Needless to say, we won't be rushing back to Riverdale anytime soon.

Arrived September 22nd 2023 to meet with friends to celebrate birthday. When I went in to register for my site booked by my friend. I was greeted with why are you here from the lady working the clubhouse. Not hello or how can I help you. Friends name spelt totally wrong and incorrect first name. The campground was nice . All the tables had been stood up on side or against trees after last time grass was cut. We also found dog poop bags in fire pits and left over baked potatoes in firepit. We had good time other then these issues.

Gorgeous setting on the banks of the Battle River. Tremendous value if you're a golfer (18 holes, and grass greens for $22 unlimited daily rate) the camping rates are a deal, too. 130+ sites of all types. It's a popular place, though so phone and book early. The booking procedure is painless and efficient.

We stayed for 4 days this week and not impressed. We booked ahead and were told the site we got was the last power site. There were lots of power sites available right up until we left on the 5th day. Asked to be on a cancellation list if there was anything available for us to stay longer. We got a call 3 hours after arriving home. Seems a bit unorganized. And the washrooms( other than the main ones) are outrageous. I would think they should be cleaned daily. I would never allow children to use them. On a brighter note it was quiet and the golf course was nice. We might come back if we can get close enough to walk to the main washrooms. They were nice.
