Make sure to make your reservation at least a day in advance. I made and paid for my reservation after 5pm the day of my arrival. Somehow my reservation went to the owners spam folder 🤷‍♀️ stop by the office whether it is open or not, so you can get the number of the camp host and let him know you are there so they don’t unplug you, like they did me. I recommend the host leave a note when they unplug a trailer if the customer is not there, so we could have solved it immediately upon our return. In the morning I called the host and explained what happened, he rectified it quickly. Hopefully, after my experience they will set it up so the host gets notified when reservations are made online, a simple change in your reservation notifications could have avoided this situation.

I came up on this Park while Ambulance Transporting a Patient to and from Hospital visits and Treatments, who They ALL referred to as PawPaw a few years back. Everyone there on site & front office was Very Welcoming and Greeted with open arms. I then visited and use the facility about 4 times over the latter years. I've never used the cabins, but the Camp grounds and fishing docks over Trinity River. Very easy and remote to get by way of Houston. They do Cater and Honor Military and Veterans with Great Discounts. GREAT GetAWay!!!

The people who I encountered greeted me from a comfortable distance and kept it moving. I was comfortable.

These people are amazing, and have been very nice about everything, in the park it's right off the trinity, and let us know about the whether and when there gonna cut the water off so that it doesn't freeze, and the water is back on and up and running according to the whether , I Love it by the river it's always a cool brezze, even when the whether is hot ,and the people are very friendly and affordable rates come check it out, it like serenity out here .,

It's relaxed and quiet, doesn't have all the amenities that other rv parks have but it's way affordable. I've been there for two years and leave for weeks at a time sometimes I leave in a rush and have left tools, ladder or my shed wide open and never had one single thing I own touched. Have had Amazon packages pile up on my porch and everything is always as it should be. That's rare anywhere. A place this cheap you're think would be full of unsavory individuals but that's not the case here., the people are great. So they might not have wifi but the peace of mind I have is worth way more.....

It has a lot of potential. It isn't like other RV Parks where the goal is to see if you can take up every square inch with RVs. Needs some TLC but the residents I talked to like the place

Definitely a good place to stay when we’re in the area. No issues with anyone or anything. It’s a pretty quiet park with lots of room for a big rig and two duallys and a cargo trailer which is what we have.

Apparently they don’t understand the laws protecting service dogs and esa’s . If you have a service animal I would avoid, they don’t know how to run a business properly

RV park by the Trinity River, near the cemetery, by the highway, close to the bridge, near the boat ramp. A good place to quarantine if you enjoy nature and outdoor activities like fishing, and kayaking. RV spots spaced farther apart. There are grass and concrete slabs spots available. With 50 amp electricity, water and sewer hookup. Unfortunately, no good WIFI connection.. There was a washer/dryer area but did not try it-not sure if it works. The place can still be improved with better amenities.
