We rented an RV spot near the bathroom #55, perfect location. GREAT guy that runs the grounds , does golf cart rounds often to make sure all is well, friendly and kind. Bathrooms we used were recently redone, not bad at all , showers had great pressure and were free. We had a small area but plenty of room still for our 32 foot RV with 2 slide outs, grill, chairs, picnic table, our 4ft table and all of our decor. We had great neighbors all over the park that were all friendly, pet friendly ,and very very quiet. The ONLY thing that was disappointing for me was the laundry, washers were small and dryers took 3 cycles to dry , each load is $2.50 but other than that we LOVED being there this weekend!!! Can’t wait to return!! Thank you Riverside Campground for making our stay pleasant and enjoyable! Jackie, Ben & Molly

Do NOT come to this campground. I have been coming here for 9 years and have had no problems, in fact everyone loved it. Then the new owners came and absolutely destroyed this place. It breaks my heart seeing a place that used to be so well managed and loved become such a place of disgust. There was a incident where a man came on to someone’s site and started yelling at CHILDREN with no adult around, then when management was contacted they told the children and their parents for them to leave the campground and keep the man there. And don’t even get be started on those disgusting bathrooms, EW. This place has really come to be a mess and it’s not safe.

honestly wish i could give this place 0 stars. this is not camping, there is no privacy, no place to be by yourself. i booked a tent site for my partner and i, and the rv less than 10 ft from us was watching television outside until 11:30pm. it's also next to a busy highway with a train running through the night aswell. the sites are probably like 15ft total, barely enough for an SUV and a 2 person tent. my "neighbors" (felt more like roommates) at the campsite were very loud and drunk. i was exhausted, and just needed a place to sleep for the night after traveling all day and never expected this to be as bad as it was. as for the bathrooms, yes dirty, but it's also a "campsite" so i didn't expect it to be clean. $78 for this. please believe the reviews, i didn't look before i booked and i regret it

Bait and switch? Not at all as described. The website says there’s a “camp store for essentials”. There is no camp store. They don’t even sell wood. They sell ice. The website says the “campground offers fishing on the Merriland River”, also not true. There may have been at some point, in the distant past, but water (brook like) utterly inaccessible. Not anything like the park map. Our site was not paved (as depicted in park photos). Unexpectedly crowded with mostly seasonal (and seemingly year round) campers. Tent sites were located on grass “islands” surrounded by campground roads and literally right beside the playground, and let me tell you… there must have been 30 kids. We were pleased that our campsite was next to an empty site, on the first night. Subsequent nights the empty site was tightly packed with 4 cars. The park description states there are clean showers which appeared to be true however, we chose not to use them as 1. They are coin operated and 2. Individual stalls with curtain and door. While “technically” in a building, I would argue that that’s not an accurate description. Lastly was the surprise train that goes by, whistle blowing, several times a day. If you One star for the guy on the golf cart because he was very nice and because the park is conveniently located. You decide.

Location was good. Otherwise soap and tp were not available in the bathrooms we had to move a tent b/c of dog poop which was everywhere. Playground too small and staff not readily available. Store only has ice. Too much money for this stay. Bachelor party next to is went until 3am with kids trying to sleep.
