We stayed in the Hummingbird cabin this past week. Unfortunately this was not what we expected. The views of the river are so different from Chrysler Marina. As the picture shows the tree is our water view. Only cabin with a view is Chickadee. The bathrooms were not maintained for two days running out of toilet paper on a long weekend is not okay.( I always bring an emergency stash) The lots across from my cabin where family members stayed were disgusting to rent out. No privacy, people trodding through their lot, no safe place for a fire, no trees. I've posted pictures so you have a better idea.

Any good review here is a bold faced LIE! Our “riverside” premium campsite had no river view. The toilets reeked of rotten eggs and one is shared for the entire campground. I hope you enjoy camping with strangers because there is 0 privacy and the boundaries of each site are iffy at best. If you are going to ignore the reviews and stay here, bring shelter as many campsites may as well be in a soccer field. The water at the beach was swampy and alarming that another review was posted during our stay that the beach was closed due to bacteria?? But there were people in and around the water. Be prepared to pay $10.99 for wood that may as well be kindling (yes we made sure we got the wood bag and not kindling). The only good thing about this park is the people working here who are friendly and accommodating .

Riverside-Ceder campground is a lovely campground. The staff are very nice, and they have a cute little store with firewood, ice, snacks, and Parks of the St. Lawrence souvenirs. The campgrpund has a wide selection of sites from unserviced to 30 amp with water hookups. The grounds are well kept and pretty. Lots of shade trees. Sites are spacious, but quite open. Not particularly private in most cases. The Canadian Geese really own the place. Just trying to get to the washroom is a bit like walking across a minefield full of "gifts"! Otherwise, it's a great campground. I would not recommend swimming at the beach. There's kelp (reeds?) everywhere, very shallow, and the beach has lots of geese poo. Overall, the campground location is great, there are many fun things to do in a 30 minute radius, like visiting Fort Wellington in Prescott (really nice place as well), Mille Roches Beach on the Long Sault Parkway (fantastic beach and great boat rental place for canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, etc), Upper Canada Village and much more!

It is a very nice place but A lot of work need to be done . You can feel a lot of negligence. The beach is not prepared for swimming, not cleaned and a lot algae and grass. In a big area there is only one bathroom that you need to drive your car to go shower or toilette.

Rented a cabin for 4 nights but contemplated leaving early due to many different factors; much out of control of the staff. There is no "water front" due to 20ft tall reeds and even if they weren't there it's a literal swamp. The grass is full of geese stool and the "beach" is disgusting and not maintained. The whole place unfortunately reeks of goose droppings, sewage and stagnat water. All the parks walking trails were closed and looks like they haven't had any maintenance in a long time. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned and quickly resupplied with toilet paper if brought to the staffs attention. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Close to ammendities and other activities including a usable beach. Unfortunately we will not be returning nor giving recommendations for this camp ground for cottage use nor RV.

Beautiful views. Large sites. Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Dog park only 5 minutes down the road. Fantastic sites right on the St. Lawrence.

They need to have more bathrooms on the camp grounds. I've camped many places and most have bathrooms or outdoor toilets in many spots so it's convenient for everyone to use no matter where they are staying within the park. And one of the ladies toilets was out of order which makes it even less enjoyable to wait for the next available one. Other than the bathrooms the camp grounds were pretty nice. The beach was closed but it wasn't a huge deal. The store needs to not rip people off with the price of maple syrup though amongst other things. 8 bucks for a 125 mL container is a joke.

Love, this campground. Have been coming here for years. That last couple of years have become difficult to really enjoy this campground. Two bathroom facilities are closed which leaves a bathroom in the middle and far right open for all the campers to us. We do understand that water levels play an important part, maybe outhouses can be a long term solution. Group camping that is noisy. I am all about familys getting together. Hearing all the little ones enjoying the camping freedom to run and play, but loud music and partying unacceptable.
