Riverside Park Campground in Pembroke is a cozy riverside spot that’s great for families and relaxed campers. Most sites are level and close to the water, with easy access to walking trails, a beach area, and clean washrooms. There’s a nice mix of tent and RV spaces, and you can often catch a breeze off the river on hot days. The campground is quiet at night, and staff keep it tidy and friendly. Just be ready for trains passing nearby once in a while — they’re noticeable but not a dealbreaker.

Riverside Park Campground offers a relaxed, family-friendly camping experience along the Ottawa River. It features serviced and unserviced sites, clean washrooms, and a playground, plus easy access to walking trails and the waterfront. The grounds are well-maintained, with shaded areas and picnic tables throughout. It’s close to downtown Pembroke, making it convenient for supplies or local dining. Seasonal staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is quiet and respectful. Ideal for RVs, tents, or a casual weekend getaway. Bonus: it’s right beside Riverside Park, so campers can enjoy green space and river views without leaving the site.

The note isnt much about the place itself but all factors together that boost the experience when you just pass by. The guys were very helpful, the price so cheap (50$/n8) and it is super calm along the lake with nice sunshine rising!
