Located conveniently within the city limits of Evart, MI, the park offers the perfect balance between easy town access and a secluded riverside feel. Nestled in Osceola County, the park is defined by its extensive frontage on the water, providing a beautiful backdrop for morning walks. The surrounding landscape is characterized by lush mature trees and proximity to some of the region’s most popular recreational trail systems, making it a central hub for outdoor exploration.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

One of the primary draws for visitors is the direct access to the Pere Marquette Rail-Trail, a premier destination for long-distance cycling, running, and hiking. The river itself is a playground for those who enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, with the Muskegon River being well-known for its smallmouth bass. Additionally, the park’s location allows guests to walk or take a short drive into downtown Evart to explore local shops, seasonal festivals, and charming hometown eateries.

If you’re in the area this a very cute area to explore. A nice walking trail with some nice overlooks and views of the river along the bridge. Also some nice wilderness areas and a great spot for a picnic. It’s beautiful for photography all times of year and can even capture some great sunsets as well. I would drive here only to go to this park but if you’re already in or around the area I highly recommend it.
