Overview
Riverside RV Park serves as a practical and scenic base for travelers exploring the historic Wild West atmosphere of Dodge City. Managed by the local municipality, this park offers a clean and straightforward camping experience right along the Arkansas River. It provides a relaxed environment where visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of the Kansas plains while remaining within walking distance of some of the city's most famous landmarks.

The park is uniquely situated adjacent to Wright Park, a lush green space that adds a peaceful buffer to the camping area. Its position on the southern edge of the downtown area means guests are never far from the action. The surrounding landscape is characterized by open skies and the quiet flow of the river, making it a pleasant riverside retreat that feels more secluded than its central location suggests.

We enjoyed staying at Riverside RV Park back in April. Park was maintained and staff was friendly. Pull through site was fairly level and had room for car to stay on the back of the motorhome. (always a plus, if you're just staying a night) Park was nice and quiet. Showers were clean. Roads are a little bumpy coming in; they are better if you come in from the south. We would stay again.

Nice campground with level, gravelly sites. 20/39/50 amp electric service plus water and sewer. Very reasonable. Good place for a quick overnight stay. Site was $34.

It's pretty close to the all the plants in town and it's quiet. The roads are a little rough and the sand burrs take a little getting used to but it's a nice place to stay.

I had to do 4 star even though I wanted to do 5 star because of the service and convenience and price. At $34 per night in October with full service hookup, that’s phenomenal! I did not use the facilities because we had an RV, but the reason I had to do 4 stars is because the rough gravel driveway and the goat head prickles in the grass where a kid would play or when you walk out of the camper. Otherwise, it’s great!!

Nice big area for the dogs to run and play. The office ladies were really nice! Great monthly price! During the rain tho the roads to all the campers get flooded and stay that way forever. They did have someone eventually pump up the water. Our camper area never flooded tho. So that was nice. The laundry room was big with lots of washers & dryers. There was an office lady that kept walking into the men's bathroom unannounced to clean or whatever. She def could knock and holler in there first.
