Riverside RV Park

This is a nice place for a short stay. What I liked was there was lots of wild life here. We rolled up to our campsite to a bull moose standing just across the river not far from our site. We also saw plenty of antelope and deer. The sites are paved with fairly good spacing between sites. We got our big rig in our site with no problems. On the "con" side there is no bathrooms, showers or laundry service. There is limited dog walking area although there is a dog park a couple of minutes drive from this campground. We have big dogs so they need room to run every day and there was nothing for them at this campground. Gas and groceries are just down the road. I do wish more of this info was on their web page, If you are not into the extras this is a good place- I would come back here again.

Neat and clean, no laundry but the people are very nice and the sites are paved. There is a wonderful little dog walk along the river. I even saw a moose!

Peaceful, quiet park. Not much to it, but it was comfortable. I saw deer, and great herd of antelope, and a MOOSE right across the river!! So that was incredible!! A great location to access Fossil Safari!

Great place! Quiet and convenient. If I had to pick a fault it was a little tight for our 4 door long bed truck to park with our blocking others. (That’s more out issue). Will definitely stay again!

Very nice and clean. Drawbacks were no showers or restrooms. Paved sites somewhat close together

Small, well kept up park. Convenient to town. Space B1 was lovely with nice shade trees and space to spread out a bit. Only 4 stars because the park has no bathroom or shower facilities. Otherwise a great place for overnight or a couple of days.

Great location to visit the fossil quarries only 30 minutes away. Very accommodating staff. Paved with water , elec, and sewer. No restrooms or showers. Usual for a rural area. But cheaper than usual

This is a good place with all of the basic needs for an RV Park. Full hookups, a level site, shade trees, very little traffic and fairly peaceful is what I needed and is what this place has. Also, was a good price without a bunch of fancy amenities that I never use. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice location in Kemmerer, right along the river and wildlife areas. Sites are long, pull-thru sites that have been paved with full hook-ups. Owner, Gordon, is super nice and friendly, offering assistance in any way. LOVED this little-known area in Wyoming!

A quiet place to spend a night or two if you're side by side riding the many forest service/national forest roads in the area or hunting fossils at Fossil Lake. 30/50A hookups, sewer, water and flat, asphalt parking pads make set up a breeze. The spots are a little narrow for slides but you can make them work. Several reviews mentioned the rail line nearby but the trains don't blow the horns because there are no street to rail intersections in town. As the website reads, there are no showers or laundry available. Kemmerer is close and there are several restaurants to choose from and a nice grocery store for supplies. We enjoyed our stay and not only recommend but will stay here again on our next fossil hunting trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Riverside. It's tucked away in a neighborhood outside Kemmerer proper, but only minutes away. We had a shady back-in site with the river up a small hill behind us. There are picnic tables and benches along the river behind the back-in sites, but not at individual sites. FHU worked fine. Reservations made online and it was a little confusing on arrival since there's no one in the office. You have to text (calling didn't work) to let them know you're there, then they will call with info. Worked out fine.
