Tent camping on the lawn couldn't have been better. Thank you. I can't wait to visit again.

Thanks for getting us in last minute! VERY affordable. We enjoyed our one night stay, passing through town. We were incredibly happy with how quiet it was, at all hours, considering there were lots of other people. Thank you so much for having us over night, it gave us a spot to park the car and sleep overnight before continuing our journey! The bathroom was incredibly clean, the park was easy to navigate and our little dogs enjoyed the dog park space.

What a gem! Weary tent travelers needing a place to stay and this exceeded our expectations. Beautiful big grassy site for tents. Very clean bathroom and wonderfully hot showers! Morning coffee with my new friend!

This place is for long-term and short-term stay. The staff was great when we were checking in. They showed us to our hook up site and guided our trailer in promptly. This location is perfect when you want to explore. It's right on the Chetco river, about a 5-minute drive to the harbor, and a 10-minute drive to the beach. The guests were really friendly. Bathrooms and showers are separate but right next to one another. Bathrooms are locked with passcode that you are given upon arrival. The only complaint that I have about this place is that the showers could be updated, it was like an outhouse shower. I wore shower shoes, there was a draft, not enough lighting or a mirror, and insects were crawling on my items that I had put on the bench once I had come out of the shower. Pros: friendly staff, clean bathrooms, laundry, plenty of space, boat launch, quiet

This little hidden gem was just that, a hidden gem. The place was small but quaint. It is set back against a beautiful river full of wildlife including otters and kingfishers. The staff was friendly and the trees are full of apples. The best part has to be the people who call this place home. They once were like me who just needed a place to stay for the night but found this place so enticing that they now call it home. Never have I met a friendlier bunch of people. I wish them well and hope to one day find the happiness they have found in this little RV park.

OK...this place is absolutely charming. The owner's have made this park a beautiful place that just so happens to have RV's in it. The staff is accommodating and friendly as are the long term tenants who live there. All that being said we tent camped here, and those sites are in the middle of a field. The sites are huge and come with fire rings and picnic benches, but I prefer a little tree or two when I am tent camping. Also, it must be said that we had neighbors with very small, very vocal grand children who basically ruined a couple of nights of our stay there...I say this because the website touts the park as a 55 and older park. Understandably people are going to have grandkids camping with them, which is why I did not take any stars from the park. There are clean (albeit kind of dark) showers here as well as restrooms, laundry and a place to wash dishes. Otter's live here, and a variety of wildlife can be seen from there private waterfront park. I will say it was nice to find a spot to tent in Brookings, most RV Parks are RV only, and finding a tent spot in summer is impossible.

I have not stayed in this park, yet, though I have just visited it while searching for an RV Park... It is location on the bank of the Chetco River. Almost all RV Parks in Brookings are either in town or on the highway; this one is not - it is a few minutes drive up the valley on the North Bank Chetco Rd, and it has a quiet and peaceful residential atmosphere. At present, it is not open for non-residents due to the pandemic.
